Why PQASSO?
Level 1 Indicator 2:Board members are recruited to meet the skills, knowledge and experience needed to govern the organisation efficiently and effectively.
Level 1 Indicator 3:The Board ensures that the organisation works within the objects set out in its governing document and meets all legal and constitutional requirements. Board members agree and regularly review a range of policies.
Level 1 Indicator 4:The Board approves the operational plan, and delegates authority to managers for operational decisions. There are explicit arrangements in place for decision making and authorising expenditure, and for reporting back to the board.
