     _____Alpha OrderSources must be in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. If there is no author use

    the title of the article.

     _____Hanging Indent

     First line is at the left margin. All lines after the first line of each entry in your referencelist should be indented !” from the left margin. Format in Paragraph setting – don’t

    manually indent. This is called a hanging indentation.

     _____Citations 

     Every citation should be parenthetically cited within your paper. For articles with the same title, differentiate by using the next word of the citation. (“Electorial College”

    Gale). (“Electoral College” Informational).

     _____Format All 12 point font. No word art. 1” margins, double space entire document. Title of work

     – book/journal is italicized. Each entry has a period at the end. Works Cited is at thetop, no bold, 12pt font.

     _____Variety of SourcesYou must have a variety of sources to establish credibility. Three sources is a MINIMUM

     – more will enhance your project/paper and make your work easier. Use a variety ofdatabases as well.
