Raise the Cover Rear Assy at the top and remove it.
Insert finger and raise the bottom of the Battery to release it.
Remove the Battery.
3.2 Co-Brand LabelCarefully insert the dentist hook underneath the Co-BrandLabel and slide the dentist hook back and forth to detach theCo-Brand Label.

Remove the Co-Brand Label with a pair of tweezers.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
3.3 Cover Front AssyRemove the two screws by using the torx bit no. 5.
There are several snap hooks securing the Cover FrontAssy.
Use fingers to pull the Cover Front Assy in the direction ofarrows to unsnap the hooks on both sides.

Unsnap the top hook in the direction of arrow.
Push the Carrier Metal Frame in the direction of arrow until itbecomes released.
The Cover Front Assy removed.
3.4 Speaker Box AssemblyUnsnap this hook by using Front Opening Tool.

Turn the Speaker Box Assembly in the direction of the arrowto release the two hooks as indicated by the pointers andremove the Speaker Box Assembly.
3.5 Key Flex Total AssyInsert dentist hook in this corner to detach the Key FlexTotal Assy.
Remove the three screws by using the JCIS No. 0 bit.
Carefully open the Key Flex Total Assy in the direction ofarrow to gain the access to the connector.

Pull upwards and remove the Cap BtB Hole Cover by usingthe Front Opening Tool.
3.11 Carrier Xenon FrameAssy
Disconnect the connector by using the Front Opening Tool.
Push the tab through the hole by using the Front OpeningTool.
Raise the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy until this side isreleased from the metal carrier using the Front OpeningTool.

Disassembly
Push the tab through the hole by using the Front OpeningTool until the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy is released fromthe metal carrier.
Do not damage the two key domes during theoperation!
Open the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy.
Carefully turn the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy in the directionof arrow to gain the access to connector.
Disconnect the connector by using the Front Opening Tool.

To remove PBA M2 FPC, four places need to be detachedfrom the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy as shown in picture:Volume Key domes (1), Vibrator pads (2), Ear Speaker pads(3) and M2 card holder (4).
Insert the dentist hook underneath (1) and slide it forth andback until it is released.
Insert the dentist hook underneath (2) and pull it upwardsuntil it is released.

Replacement: PBA M2 FPC
Insert the dentist hook underneath (3) and pull it upwardsuntil it is released.
Insert the dentist hook underneath (4) and pull it upwardsuntil it is released.
Take care not to damage the Carrier Xenon Frame Assy!
Remove the PBA M2 FPC.
INSTALLATION
There are seven guiding indicators on the PBA M2 FPCneed to be aligned when being installed.

REMOVAL
Insert the Front Opening Tool underneath the tab of the EarSpeaker and pull upwards to release it from cavity.
Remove it with a pair of tweezers.
INSTALLATION
Note the orientation of the new Ear Speaker and place it inposition with a pair of tweezers.

Insert the dentist hook into the corners of the Shield Can LidBB2 and pull upwards to release it.
Remove it with a pair of tweezers.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
INSTALLATION
Place the new Shield Can Lid BB2 on top of the shield fenceand press gently until it is securely attached.

Turn the Cover Rear Metal Assy in the direction of arrow toits horizontal position.

Apply 10 Ncm torque when tightening the five new screws(3.5x1.2) with the JCIS No. 0 bit.

Lock the connector by pressing down the locking bar usingFlex Film Assembly Tool.
Turn the Key Flex Total Assy in the direction of arrow to itshorizontal position.

Press down the back of the phone.

Squeeze in both sides to secure the eight pins

(torx 5.0x1.6) with the torx bit no. 5.
5.13 Co-Brand LabelPlace a new Co-Brand Label in cavity using a pair oftweezers.
The Co-Brand Label can not be reused! Use a new one!
Press to secure the attachment.
5.14 Battery and Cover RearAssy
Clean the battery connector by using the ESD brushbefore installing the Battery.
Insert the Battery at the top.
