Overall GPA of 70 (4.0 GPA on a 12.0 system)
Good attendance & discipline records
Meet specified score(s) on TSI if any part or parts are required for a program
Complete the on-line AISD Special Program application
Apply for admission to TCC by completing an ApplyTexas application (www.applytexas.org)
Rank in top 20% of class; or Have a 3.5 unweighted
GPA on 4.0 scale; or Have a qualifying PSAT or
SAT or ACT scoreAND
Have minimum passing standards on all parts of the TSI; or
Have a qualifying PSAT or SAT or ACT score

W orkforce Dual Credit Programs
2018- 2019 General Info for TCC & UTA Programs
Programs begin in 11th OR 12th grade (list by grade level below). Students earn high school AND college credit. Transportation varies according to program place and time. AISD provides textbooks and other materials depending on the program. Currently, tuition is $59.00 for one TCC class. Fees are subject to change.
o If a student is on Free or Reduced Lunch, tuition is waived. Classes meet at various locations. Some programs may have classes that run past the end of a traditional school day.
Qualifications for TCC Programs Only Must have an overall grade point average of 70 (4.0 GPA on a 12.0 system) at the end of the 1st
semester of 10th grade (or 11th grade if applying for a senior-only program). Must have a good attendance and discipline record. Must make a specified minimum score on the TSI Assessment if a part or parts are required for a
program. Must complete an on-line AISD Special Program application. Must apply for admission by completing an ApplyTexas application (www.applytexas.org).
