WorkCenter Overview

• Two main frames – Left Navigation and content frame

• Clicking links in left sidebar opens the target content on the right

• Designed for specific role(s) with similar job functions to streamline work

• Navigate to via main menu (classic) or Tiles (Fluid)

• Introduced in 8.51 but many improvements since:

– Improved left sidebar UI – support more pagelets

– Support for Homepage pagelets, not just Templates

– Activity Guide WorkCenter template to get you started

– Dashboard support

– Inter Window Communication: Pagelets and transaction page can interact

• WorkCenters were originally a Classic feature - Oracle migrating to Fluid
