Description The package summaries activities that are needed to perform final design for KMOS2 Instrument Control. At Instrument Control Software level all stages of architectural design will be performed through incremental development iterations (3 are foreseen) At Instrument Control Hardware level, the first objective is to analyze, define and design the schematics and the cabling for all the KMOS2 subsystems; calibration units, Filter Units etc. Second objective is to analyze the impact of the design on the spare parts and to define the tools needed to verify the subsystems. And finally define LCUs, Racks & Enclosures environment. A LCU dedicated to the test of mechanism prototypes will be designed.
