WHAT I HAVE DONE?3

Click on the icon to insert a picture, then send to the background using the Format tab. I have started with zero knowledge about engineering disciplines. All that I know was the names of engineering.

With this amazing opportunity I have found a chance to speak different types of engineering disciplines. Before starting to this work experience I was planning to be an electrical engineer or computer engineer but after seeing them in real world I have changed my mind with civil engineering.

• Civil engineers have the most varied career options out of all the major engineering disciplines.

•  Civil engineers understand the environment and how they can use it safely and smartly to improve our quality of life.

• Compared with the other disciplines, it is technically less challenging.

WHY CIVIL ENGINEERING?

ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES5

Engineering is a broad field that is divided into various disciplines and sub-disciplines. The disciplines of engineering can be divided into four main categories; Chemical Civil Electrical Mechanical Each main discipline will provide with a “taste” of the various skills and knowledge required to work in any field related to the discipline.

HOW DO THESE DISCIPLINES INTERACT?

In a project, engineers creates puzzle pieces all they need to do is put everything together but without having any idea about the other disciplines they’ll make a mess. Nevertheless all the engineers have an idea about the middle part of the puzzle.
