Who is IAESTE

• IAESTE was founded in 1948 at Imperial College, London.

• By 2013, 87 countries had joined with exchange of 350,000 (7000 annually) students worldwide

• HQ in Luxembourg.

IAESTE KENYA• In Kenya, it was founded in 2004 and for

the last 10 years JKUAT has been the main host of the international students.

• Partnering companies include Nampak, Del Monte among others.

• Currently there are two co-operating institution ; JKUAT & DKUT

• Prof. Wariara Kariuki is currently the National Secretary.

• Exchange over 100 students annually.• Provide job offers for international

students in the country.• Have at least 10 Kenyan universities

participating as members of IAESTE Kenya.
