SUMMARIZE OR REPLICATEThe Historian Online Edition is a tier two historian, meaning it gathers and stores data from one or more local Wonderware Historians. It summarizes data from different historians, enabling you to analyze performance differences across multiple facilities or production areas. Historian Online Edition can also be used to simply replicate data from different sites for a complete and more secure data record.

USE ONLY WHAT YOU NEEDUnlike most historians the Historian Online Edition is not “sized” by the number of data tags. You can store up to a terabyte of data with more storage available, if required.

Wonderware® Historian Client generates real-time and historical data charts and reports directly from the Wonderware Historian, allowing operators, engineers and decision makers to quickly visualize what is happening during a production run, a batch or any industrial process.

Wonderware Historian Client is versatile and open so data can be viewed, analyzed and consumed via a desktop application, web browsers or by external applications, such as Microsoft Office, Wonderware InTouch® HMI or even custom clients.

SmartGlance

Wonderware SmartGlance enables you to view your plant data on your mobile phone or tablet. Download the SmartGlance App from your favorite app store to view, analyze and collaborate around your facilities’ process or operational data, metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports anywhere, anytime and from any device.

By combining SmartGlance and the Wonderware Historian Online Edition, you can transition from understanding a single plant’s performance to a comprehensive view of your business by securely extending on-premises data to the cloud and easily viewing your operations across the organization using SmartGlance on your mobile app or tablet.

Data stored in the Historian Online Edition can be easily accessed using Historian Client or SmartGlance mobile reporting. Microsoft Windows Azure is used as the cloud hosting environment for the Historian Online Edition.
