TRUESDALE MOVING UP IN THE RECORD BOOK...Junior Katie Truesdale sits in fourth place all-time for career points and goals, surpassing Katie Ryan who played at Loras from 2004-2007. Through her first 61 games as a Duhawk, Truesdale has scored 36 goals and 13 assists, totaling 85 points.

The all-time scoring record is held by Michelle Wieser who accumulated 87 goals and 53 assists, totaling 227 points from 2001-2004.

SHINING ON THE RED CARPET...On September 30, senior Claire Murphy found herself in the right place at the right time to be the hero for the Duhawks. With Loras and Central drawn at 1-1 with overtime looming, freshman Alexis O’Neill delivered a corner kick to junior Katie Truesdale in front of goal. Off a deflection, Murphy tapped home the winner as time expired, lifting the Duhawks to victory.

Following the game, Loras College Television (LCTV) shared their footage of the goal on Twitter and got the attention of ESPN’s SportsCenter. As a part of their Top 10 plays segment, the Duhawks were ranked as the third best play of the night.

NEW LOOK FOR DUHAWKS.COM...This summer, Loras College Athletics received a major facelift in the digital world, partnering with SIDEARM Sports to create the new Duhawks.com. SIDEARM Sports, who currently provides website solutions for 753 NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA and High School Athletic programs.

CRYSTAL-CLEAR HIGH-DEFINITION...For the fans that are unable to attend Friday’s match, they’ll be treated to a first-class ticket to the first high-definition online stream produced by Loras College Athletics. During the offseason, thanks largely in part to an anonymous donation, the Loras College Athletic Communications Department upgraded its hardware and technology and will now provide high-definition broadcasts of its home contests all season long.
