Diversity. It’s a word we hear so often in our workplaces, in school and in our day-to-day interactions. When we hear the word “diversity,” many of us immediately think of

race. But diversity means so much more than that. It can refer to gender, socioeconomics, education, religion, age or culture. Diversity can even be spoken about in terms of differences in thoughts, words and deeds. Differences in how we look, act and think create many challenges, but also many opportunties to come together and celebrate our uniqueness. Since 1833, the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) have been committed to helping children and adults from all walks of life to reach their fullest potential. They have used different ministries to achieve this goal and have received women into the Congregation from across North America and around the world. Embracing diversity in community and through their various ministries, sisters work together to proclaim the good news as SSND, directing their entire lives toward that oneness for which Jesus Christ was sent. In 2020, the Luncheons will look at diversity and the many ways it manifests itself in all areas of our lives. You are cordially invited to be a sponsor for the luncheon at the River City Casino Event Center. Your sponsorship will help those who attend understand diversity and learn ways to use differences to create unity. In sponsoring this event, you will have the opportunity to network and recognize women and their contributions at home and in the workplace. The following pages outline the sponsorship levels and benefits associated with each level. We look forward to your sponsorship of SSND’s Women’s Leadership Luncheon at River City Casino Event Center. Thank you for supporting women leaders in our community.
