ABOUT BODRUM

Situated on a beautiful peninsula, Bodrum is one of the most popular “sea, sun and fun” destinations for Turks and foreigners alike, offering luxurious accommodations in a setting that both respects the area’s fishing village’s past and revels in its jet setting present.

Bodrum is one of the most spectacular spots in Turkey with its charm residing in its blend of a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, historical architecture and proximity to a vast array of fantastic beaches, fishing villages and trendy nightclubs. The city, known in ancient times as Halicarnassos, town of Herodotus, has grown dramatically in recent years with the opening of an international airport - yet its delightful charm remains intact with palm-lined streets and whitewashed, flat-roofed houses dotted across its terraced hillsides.

Torba is a tranquil sea-side village, located approximately 6 km. from the bustling resort of Bodrum town. Nestled in a bowl of olive groves and piney woods, Torba bay is calm and crystal clear, teaming with fish and haunted by sea turtles and the rare Mediterranean monk seal. The shoreline is blessed with secluded coves, ideal for picnics or a private swim.

Torba’s dense patches of pine trees open up onto a long, sandy beach hopping with restaurants, bars and hotels, showing visitors why it is considered one of Bodrum’s liveliest spots for dining and nightlife. Despite all that the village still retains a relaxed, rural ambience.

GETTING TO BODRUM FROM CASA DELL’ARTE

From the Casa dell’Arte Hotel, it only takes around 10 minutes to arrive in Bodrum. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that leaves every 15 minutes that goes to Bodrum's city center for 3 - 5 TL. The bus runs 7:30am to 5am every day.


LOGISTICS

Unless you find a non-stop flight to Bodrum Milas International Airport, you will most likely land in Istanbul. There are two airports in Istanbul, one on the European side, Ataturk International Airport, and one on the Asian side, Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul. You will then have to take a short connecting flight to Bodrum Milas International Airport. Below we have put together some information about flights, getting to the hotel and information about Bodrum for your convenience.

GETTING TO CASA DELL’ARTE HOTEL FROM BODRUM MILAS AIRPORT

Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) is located 33 km from the Casa dell’Arte Hotel and handles both domestic and international flights.

After arriving in Bodrum Milas Airport, guests can choose from the following modes of transportation to get to Casa dell’Arte Hotel:

• Private transfer which the hotel can arrange at an extra cost• Guests can take a taxi from airport to hotel, it costs about 150TL.• HAVAŞ Bus which stops at the Torba junction. There is a taxi stand across the street. (Fee is 10 TL for the bus and about 10-15 TL for the taxi)• If you are flying with Atlas Jet or Pegasus Airlines they both have shuttle services which stop at Torba junction. (Fee is 10 TL for the bus and about 10-15 TL for the taxi)• Guests can also rent a car from us or directly from local car rental companies
