ON Saturday 1 April 2017, Wollondilly Public School P & C Association will host between 60 and 80 Classic
Car Rally Participants for lunch. This is a wonderful fundraiser for our school, receiving a minimum of $900 for a
couple of hours input!. To make this event a success, we need your help. We are asking for volunteers for between
9.30am and 2pm, to make sandwiches, wraps, fruit platters, tea and coffee and to assist in serving and
clearing. All food will be prepared in the school canteen and served to the participants in the school hall.
Donations of uncut baked goods would also be appreciated as a little sweet treat!
If you are able to help for an hour or two, we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at [email protected] or text Cassie on 0402 156 990.

Changes to Making payments
This term 3-6D has started using the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden cooking program. So far we’ve had fun cooking and eating Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls, Hummus with Wheat Tortillas, Indian Flatbread with Garlic Butter and Carrot Dip with Tortillas. We’ve been putting our measuring and counting skills to good use, as well as strengthening our hands with all that kneading!
Up next for 3-6D is planting the garden beds with vegetables and herbs that we’ll harvest for use in future cooking. We’ve already started with our broad beans – we’ve seen roots come through, and are eagerly awaiting the sprouting of the stem!
We are putting the call out to any Wollondilly families that could help us out with our kitchen garden - if you have your own seedlings that you’d be willing to donate for planting, or have a hose with fittings (or any other garden– related equipment) that you no longer need, please get in touch with Ms Jenny Davis through the school office.

Due to all the lovely rain we have had, the PSSA Cricket and Soccer have been postponed until Term 2, dates to be advised.
