WOLF is a traditionally gaff rigged topsail schooner, patterned after the blockade runners of the19th century. A Key West icon, the WOLF’s cannons still thunder. Over the years, the WOLF hasbeen featured in numerous publications, films and documentaries.
The WOLF is also known for her humanitarian Mission of Mercy Sails and in 1987 took donatedrelief supplies to Port Antonio, Jamaica after Hurricane Gilbert (1987.) In 1998, the WOLF transported members of the Interfaith Pilgrimage of the Middle Passage to Cuba on their journeyof retracing that ancient route of slavery; and in February 2010, the WOLF traveled to earthquakeravaged Haiti, carrying donated relief supplies.
