Mark presents the Gospel of salvation within the context and plan of the life of

Jesus Christ. That life is the story of the suffering Messiah, now seen in the light

of the Resurrection. The faithful learn that the path to victory is by suffering

discipleship. But the 'between times' are difficult and there is no other way. The

call to follow Christ is the call to repent and believe.

    © Witness to Faith St Paul’s 2018

Mark presents the Gospel of salvation within the context and plan of the life of

Jesus Christ. That life is the story of the suffering Messiah, now seen in the light

of the Resurrection. The faithful learn that the path to victory is by suffering

discipleship. But the 'between times' are difficult and there is no other way. The

call to follow Christ is the call to repent and believe.
