• Removethepowerplugfromtheoutletbeforecleaningtheunit.Whenremovingthepowerplug,graspbyholdingtheplugitself,neverholdbythecord.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaninstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures: - Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna - Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver - Connecttheequipmentonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected. - Consultthedealerorexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.

OPERATIONTheairpurifiercontinuouslyworksinautomaticmode;theusercanselectwhichpreferencetheywouldlikethepurifiertousebasedonthelocationordesiredoperationoftheairpurifier.Thepurifierwilloperatethroughaminimizedrangeofspeeds,notexceedingthemaximumlevelselected,inordertorunquietlywhilecleaningtheroomofcontaminants.Onceairiscleaned,andnosensorsareactivated,theunitlowerstoenergysavingmodetoreduceenergyconsumptionandextendthelifeofthefilters.

WhenNormalmodeisselectedtheNormalindicatoronthecontrolpanelwillbebluewhentheaccesspanelisopen.Thepurifierwilloperatethroughitsfullrangeofspeedsinordertocleantheroomofcontaminatesasquicklyaspossible.Onceairiscleaned,andnosensorsareactivated,theunitlowerstoenergysavingmodetoreduceenergyconsumptionandextendthelifeofthefilters.

WhenQuietmodeisselectedtheQuietindicatoronthecontrolpanelwillbebluewhentheaccesspanelisopen.Thepurifierwilloperatethroughaminimizedrangeofspeedsinordertostayasquietaspossiblewhilecleaningtheroomofcontaminates.Onceairiscleaned,andnosensorsareactivated,theunitlowerstoenergysavingmodetoreduceenergyconsumptionandextendthelifeofthefilters.

DISPLAY PANEL

HEPA FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR–Thisindicatorwillshowitsstatuswhentheaccesspanelisopenorclosed.Ifthelightisredthisindicatesthe filter needs replacing. The replacement period will vary depending on thefiltersused,hoursofuse,airquality,andrateofairflow.ForfilterreplacementindicatordescriptionsseeFILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATORSsection.

CARBON FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR–Thisindicatorwillshow its statuswhen the access panel is open or closed. If the light is red thisindicates thefilterneedsreplacing.Thereplacementperiodwillvarydependingon the filters used, hours of use, air quality, and rate of air flow. For filterreplacementindicatordescriptionsseeFILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATORSsection.

ACCESSORY INDICATOR– This indicatorwill show its statuswhen theaccesspanelisopenorclosed.Thisindicatorwillonlybeusedifanaccessoryfilterisinstalledintheunit.Ifthelightisredthisindicatesthefilterneedsreplacing.Thereplacementperiodwillvarydependingonthefiltersused,hoursofuse,airquality,andrateofairflow.ForfilterreplacementindicatordescriptionsseeFILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATORSsection.

AIR QUALITY SENSOR – This indicator will show its status when theaccesspanelisopenorclosed.Thisindicatormonitorstheairqualityandadjuststhefanspeedtokeepyourairpurified.Blue,amber,andredlightsindicatethepurityofyourair.

PlasmaTRUE™ TECHNOLOGY–Thisindicatorwillshowitsstatuswhentheaccesspanelisopenorclosed.Createsanionizedfieldtohelpsafelyremoveairborne pollutants. To turn on and off the PlasmaTRUE™ TECHNOLOGY, touchandholdthePLASMAindicator.AbluelightilluminateswhenthePlasmaTRUE™TECHNOLOGY isenabled.Todisable thePlasmaTRUE™TECHNOLOGY,pressandhold“Plasma”indicatoruntillightisoff.

NORMAL MODE– Select this mode for restrooms, cafeterias, fitness areas, andother louderareasasrapidpurification is initiatedwhentheroomisoccupiedand/or strong airborne contaminants are present. To select, press and hold the“Normal”indicatoruntiliconilluminates.Thismodemonitorsairquality,motion,andnoiseleveltoadjustthefanspeedinordertokeepyourairpurifiedasquicklyaspossible.Thefancanreachturbospeedtocleantheroominthecaseofhighlevelsofcontaminant.

QUIET MODE–Thismodeutilizesthe3lowest,mostquietofthe5fanspeeds.Selectthismodeforclassrooms,meetingrooms,offices,andotherquieterareasastheunitwillnotrunfasterthanthemaximumsetspeed.Toselect,pressandholdthe“Quiet”indicatoruntiliconilluminates.Continuetopressandholdtheindicatorto switch between the maximum speeds in this mode. There are three differentlevels; each level represents a maximum fan speed that the unit can achieve. • Level 1 = The lowest speed, the unit will beep one time when this mode hasbeenselectedandtheunitwillnotrunfasterthanthislowestspeed.• Level 2 = Low speed, the unit will beep two times when this mode has beenselectedandtheunitwillnotrunfasterthanlowspeed.• Level3=Mediumspeed,theunitwillbeepthreetimeswhenthismodehasbeen selectedandtheunitwillnotrunfasterthanmediumspeed.TheQuietModemonitorsairquality,motion,andnoiseleveltoadjustthefanspeedinorder tokeep theairpurifiedasefficientlyaspossiblewhilenotexceeding themaximumspeedlevelselected.

CARE AND MAINTENANCECLEANING: • Cleanexternalhousingasnecessarybywipingwithadry,softcloth;forstains,useawarm,dampcloth. • Donotusevolatilefluidssuchasbenzene,paintthinner,scouringpowderorothercleanersthatmaydamagetheunitsurface. • Cleanintakeandexhaustventsbywipingwithadry,softcloth.

Unlock access panel: to unlock, insertthe key provided and rotate counter-clockwise¼turn.

Touchandholdtheilluminatedindicator for three seconds untilabeepisheardandtheindicatorisflashinggreen.

Open front access panel by pressinglatches on both sides of unit. Allowpanel to open fully. Remove filter(s)tobereplaced.

Releasefingerfromindicator.

Removeanypackagingwrapfromthenewfilters(s)andre-installthefilters.

Touch and hold the indicator forthreesecondsuntilabeepisheardandtheindicatorlightturnsoff.

FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATORS:ThereplacementfilterindicatorswillsignalwhentoreplacetheHEPAFilterand/orCarbonwithPre-Filter.Thereplacementperiodwillvarydependingonthehoursofuse,airquality,andrateofairflow.However,undernormalusage,mostHEPAFiltersneedtobereplacedevery2years,andCarbonwithPre-Filterevery6months.Whena filterneeds tobe replaced the following colorwill be shownonanyoneof theHEPA,CARBON,orACCESSORY filter replacementindicators:

Redflashing=90%filterwear(recommendationtoordernewfilters)

Redsteady=100%filterwear(replacewithnewfilters)

Donotwashandreuseanyofthefilters–theywillnotworkeffectively.OnlyuseAeraMax®PRObrandreplacementfiltersasunitswillnotfunctionusinganyotherreplacements.

FILTER REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

FILTER REPLACEMENT:Wheninstallinganewfiltertheunitwillautomaticallydetectthefiltertypebuttheuserwillhavetomanuallyresetthefilterreplacementindicators.Toresetanyofthefilterreplacementindicatorsusethefollowingprocedure:

• MakesurefiltersaregenuineAeraMax® PRO filters, as unit will not function with other brands.IMPORTANT:MakesurefilterdetectionareaongenuineAeraMax® PRO replacementfilteralignswithwindowinfilterframe.• Review“Re-InstallingFilters”sectionforfurtherdetail.• Makesurefrontaccesspanelisclosedcompletely.• Makesurepowerswitchison.

Theunitmakesafainttickingsound. • Thisindicatesthatthe“PlasmaTRUE™”bipolarionizerisworking.TheHEPAand/orCarbonFilterreplacementindicatorlightremainlitafterreplacingthefilter(s). • Repeatfilterlightresetinstruction.

Note: If you do not complete step three within 10 seconds of completing step 1 then the indicator light will not be reset.
