With just under six weeks to go, M&S is sharing the first of its weekly Christmas Countdown updates - giving you an insight into the people, products, trends and statistics behind its Christmas 2017 activity. He said “Christmas is one of my favourite projects of the year; we take inspiration from the world theatre and set design to help us tell a story that customers really want to stop and look at – whichever town or city they are in. The whole process begins about 18 months in advance and so we’re already well on the way with our Christmas 2018 plans.” Originally from Monmouth, South Wales, Ben studied design at Goldsmiths in London and has been with M&S for three years. Launched by the lovely Pixie Lott at our Marble Arch store, so far we’ve sold 78,000 of our charity book version of our christmas ad, ‘Paddington and the Christmas Visitor’ raising £156,000 for the NSPCC Look out for the launch of our ‘extraordinary’ Christmas Food Campaign. It’s rumoured to include an on-screen kiss to remember… 15 NOV Special readings of our NSPCC charity book will be held throughout the festive season at our Cheshire Oaks, Lisburn, Cribbs Causeway and Braehead stores.
