Wisconsin Junior Beach
“The Complete Player”
Beach Program
The program will be designed to teach and train the skills and techniques required to be successful at the game of sand doubles. Both beginner and advanced training opportunities will be available based on the age and talent level of the players. Our coaches will keep the focus on training with high repetition, fun and challenging drills with game like situations to develop the all around player.
Why Play Beach? The number of contacts on the ball is high and
requires every skill to be refined in order to be successful.
Works on communication and covering a large area of court.
Play is much more simple which means more shot selection is necessary and vision to see the court is key.
You learn how to play with all the outdoor elements like, sun, wind and rain (in some cases).
You get to wear cool beach gear! IT’S FUN!
Who Can Play?
The program will be open to all players from any club to girls who will be turning 12, up to 18, looking to learn or improve their knowledge and skills in the game of sand doubles
There are no tryouts, simply register to be part of the program.
You do not need a partner to register for the program, but will need one in order to compete in any tournaments We can help pair you with another player looking for the
same.
