The Learning Initiative is the flagship program of the Wipro Cares Chennai chapter, which focuses on kids from the underprivileged sections of the society. It provides fun learning in groups of 5 for kids of 6th standard. Wipro Cares volunteers spend 3 hours on alternate Saturdays with the students engaging them in a play-way method of learning. The aim is to provide a mentor for each child in the group, a person other than parents to whom they can look up to.

To the team at Kochi, education is important, but knowledge of how to apply education to become successful is a skill. This is the skill which they aim to inculcate through Project Learning Inspired. The team teaches children from unprivileged backgrounds lessons on life skills and spoken English.
