To ensure Educator: child ratios are met, bookings and cancellations are essential.

capacity, children will be placed on a wait list. This will be advertised.

Bookings are taken on a first in first served basis.

Wraps’ for the children to

use in their school lunch box,

at home or give as a gift

Bees Wax Wraps are a great

way of reducing single use

plastics.

The children will taste test these during the day.

Whilst yarning around the fire, we want to create an

acknowledgment to country with the children to

PROGRAM DETAILS Week 1

Monday June 29th Bikes and Wheels day

This is always a popular day with the children bringing in their own bikes or

scooters from home. The children will be provided engaging bike tracks

with different challenges for all age ranges.

Special Note: All parents to service and check that the bikes or scooters

they are providing for their children to use at OSHC are safe and in full

working order. On arrival all bikes, and scooters must be placed up in the

undercover area. All children MUST HAVE A HELMET and closed in

shoes! NO HELMET, NO RIDE!

Tuesday June 30th Ninja Day

Come to OSHC and try your hand at everything Ninja, be the first to

complete the OSHC Ninja Boot Camp! Make your own origami ninja stars

and costume ninja belt. Complete with some yummy ninja style cooking.

Wednesday July 1st Make your own Animal Hats

Cost $17.00 Your children will have the choice to pick from 5 different animal hats

(rainbow bear, panda, monkey, tiger and wolf). After selecting one the

children fill the hat with stuffing until the hat fits their head correctly.

Special Note: The animal hats are a random mix of hats and the options

your child will have to choose from will be subject to availability on the day.

Thursday July 2nd Alice in Wonderland

Many crazy and fun games to explore like: Pin the eyes on the cat, Card stacking

towers, mad hatter hat toss and more. Much like the movie the day will be filled

with many crazy and fun activities like tea cup biscuit decorating and key chain

making to name a few.

Friday July 3rd Freaky Friday

Arrive to OSHC with freaky or weird hair set to amaze your friends and

OSHC staff, the freakier the better. This day is about all things freaky or

weird, we will have eye ball cookies, slime making and purple potion to try if

you dare.

Monday July 6th Science Day

This will be a very interesting day with a variety of different science activities

to engage your child throughout the day. Make the best balloon air rocket

and race your friends, explore the science behind fireworks in a jar and

volcanic bottles.

Tuesday July 7th Earth Crusaders Incursion

Cost $17.00 Earth Crusaders is and eco Incursion Company with many amazing products. Oshc with be using one of their DIY kits to make Bees Wax wraps. The bees wax wraps have been one of our sustainability goals directed by the children for some time and it’s wonderful to achieve one of the children’s goals. Special Note: All children will make their own custom bees wax wrap to use home or in their school lunch box.

Wednesday July 8th Master Chef OSHC

All children will love this day. We will create and cook three different meals

thoughout the day exploring different cooking concepts. What is an Entrée

and what should we cook? What is a Main Meal and what should we cook?

What is a Dessert and what should we cook?

Special Note: A snack size of all items cooked will be offered for children to try if they wish. This is not a meal nor should it be consider the child’s lunch. Parents to provide the children’s lunch and morning tea.

We will discuss this very important question together at OSHC “what does

connection to country mean to us”. As we yarn about this, it will help create

new ways of thinking and support greater understanding our traditional

custodians and how we can become respectful and care for the land we play

on. From this sharing OSHC want to develop an acknowledgment of country

to recognise all whom have connected with the land both past, present and

future. “Lunch is provided on this day”

Friday July 10th Carnival Day

This will be a day not to miss. The children will have a huge range of OSHC

carnival games to play accompanied with popcorn and snow cones.

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

Hours of Operation: 7.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday (Late Fee- after 6.00pm: $25.00 per family per 15 minutes or part thereof)

Parents / Guardians: Should you have any queries / concerns about the planned activities included in the program, please feel free to speak to the friendly OSHC staff. Please read the Terms of Agreement before completing the Parent Declaration and Booking Form.

Fees Policy

Fees are payable by cash, EFTPOS or Bank Transfer. One week payment in advance is required on the first day of attendance of each week that your child/ren

will be attending.

Daily Fee: $45.00 per child, plus any extra costs as indicated on the VC Program. .

FULL FEES will apply until the service receives ALL relevant information regarding parent, child and

confirmation of booking and CCS Rebate. CCS is available to all eligible families that are registered with Department of Human Services.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations for VAC care – two full BUSINESS days’ notice is required. (COB – close of business)

Cancellation policy comes into effect the Wednesday before Vacation Care commences.

Essential Information for all children attending VC

All forms of electronic equipment such as mobile phones/ hand held computer games / video games/ iPod etc. MUST NOT be brought to the centre.

All personal effects such as toys & games MUST NOT be brought to the centre.

Children must bring labelled water bottle, sun safe hat, shoes, sunscreen and spare change of clothes every day.

Children are to bring their own lunch and extra food everyday unless otherwise indicated in the

program details.

We provide breakfast and afternoon tea during VC unless specified in the program details. **Please advise the service of any special dietary requirements**

Please label everything as OSHC accepts no responsibility for your belongings becoming lost,

damaged or stolen.
