Everyone is required to set up a new account online before 8am on December 20th.

Should you need choose to register in person or pay with cash or debit you will be required to take a number. To speed up the in person registration process please have your course selections and form of payment ready. If you need assistance setting up an account we will have a computer and staff avaliable to assist you!

Registration begins at 8am on Wednesday, December 20th.

What do I do on Registration Day?

Things to Do Before Registration Day:If you have not already done so, please register for your online account before registration day!

1)Need to know what Level you need:a. You can look this information up on the last Progress Card that your child received.b. Call customer service at 204-346-6207. We will be happy to look this up for you and answer any questions you may have!c. If it has been a while since you last registered, and you think your child is beyond the level last taken, bring in your child for a free evaluation during any Public Swim time before regisitration day. We will recommend the appropriate level for your child and explain the results.2) Review the list of available classes and have a few options chosen in the event your first choice is already full! Schedule information can be accessed at www.steinbach.ca.3) Please ensure you have all your personal information ready to input once registration starts (i.e. Login passwords and form of payment).

Registrations will be accepted during office hours until the 2nd

scheduled class or online 24/7 until the first class.

SWIMMING LESSONS Winter

2018

Refund Information:For any refund processed there is an $8.40 administration fee.In lieu of a refund you may choose to have the amount credited to your account, at no charge, to use at a later date.

Withdrawals from lessons should be made as soon as possible. If the class has started, a refund or credit on account will be granted from the time of the withdrawal request. If a participant withdraws from a swimming session prior to the start of the lessons, they may receive a full refund (minus the administration fee). Within the first two weeks of lessons, a prorated refund (minus the administration fee) or credit to the account will be issued. After the completion of the second scheduled lesson, prorated refunds or credits will only be issued with a valid medical certificate.

NOTE: Holding spots is prohibited. If you register anyone in multiple courses of the same level, an administrative fee of $20 will be applied for all withdrawals.

Exclusive pool rentals are available on Saturday at 6:00pm-9:00pmand Sunday from 6:30-9:00pm. The multipurpose room is also available to rent most days for birthdays and meetings. Call us at 204.346.6207 to check availability for your booking

Red Cross Swimming Lesson Program

Starting with Sea Otter progression is based on completion of levels instead of age. Once a child turns 6 they will move to the Swim Kids program.

SWIM BASICS 1For Adult and teens 12 years and up.

Red Cross Swim Basics 1 will teach comfort in the water through attainment of basic floatation, movement and breathing skills. This level is for those who can not float or put their face in the water.

SWIM BASICS 2For Adults and teens 12 years and up.

Teaches comfort in the water through attainment of basic flotation, and strokes. Participants should be able to float and move through the water to register in this level.

SWIM STROKESFor Adults and teens 12 years and up.

Red Cross Swim Strokes for Adults and Teens will teach one or more swimming strokes, working toward proficiency and increased endurance. Participants should be able to move through the water using at least one stroke and be somewhat comfortable in the deep end.

The Steinbach Aquatic Centre will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing day and New Years Day.

First day of Winter lessons begin January 2nd, 2018

We will be open for Public Swim from 1-6pm on Louis Riel Day, February 19th - There will be no Classes
