Lake Eola Park. Beginning at 7 p.m., these

tradition.
Baldwin Park Winter Spark Christmas ParadeSaturday, Dec. 13, 2014
The community of Baldwin Park is kicking off
its holiday season by illuminating its streets
with a parade heralding Santa’s arrival. With
thousands of spectators flocking to this
annual event, the parade features marching
bands, classic cars and even
Disney Characters.
Winter Park Boat Parade Fes ti val of Lights and Ski Show
Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 Presented by the Rotary Club of Win ter
Park and Southeast Marine Sales, the festival
takes place on the lakefront shores of both
Rollins College and the Polasek Museum. The
festivities include a professional ski show and
judged lighted boat parade. This free event
begins at 3:30 p.m.
Free Nutcracker Performance by Russian Ballet
Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014
Presenting a free performance of the holiday
classic for the twelfth time, the Russian Ballet of
Orlando’s Nutcracker will be performed live in
the Disney Amphitheater in Downtown Orlando’s
Lake Eola Park.
This very popular holiday performance begins at
7:30 p.m. Be sure to get there early to find
parking and seating.
Free Friday Nights at the Morse Museum of American Art
Available until Dec 26, 2014Each Friday night during the holiday season,
the Morse Museum of American Art offers
free admission to its galleries from 4 – 8 p.m.
The museum features the work of world-
renowned stained glass artist, Louis Comfort
Tiffany.
Russell Athletic Bowl Parade Of BandsSaturday, Dec. 28, 2014
Witness the bands, cheerleaders and mascots
from both teams competing in the Russell
Athletic Bowl as they march down Park
Avenue in Winter Park. This free and fun
parade followed by musical performances
begins at 11 a.m.
Florida Citrus ParadeTuesday, Dec 30, 2014
Celebrating Central Florida’s Citrus Bowl
game, the Florida Citrus Parade is held on New
Year’s Eve in Downtown Orlando.
Nationally televised and the most extravagant
local parade of the year, it features citrus floats
from some of Orlando’s biggest attractions.
Winter in the Park Ice SkatingAvailable until Jan. 11, 2015
Introduced in 2009, the Winter in the Park outdoor
ice skating rink has become a must-do on many
Central Floridian’s holiday checklist. Set up in the
west meadow section of Winter Park’s Central
Park, the rink is open Monday through Thursday 3
– 9 p.m., Friday 3 – 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 10
p.m. and Sunday noon – 8 p.m. Cost of admission
includes skate rentals and unlimited skating time.
