Open Extractor

The Extractor can be

opened in the start

menu of

SommerGlobal

Extractor

 the Extractor allows to

export spectral data for the

use in WinSLT

3

 select spectral data

(files: *.spc, *.txt, *.xls)

 you can find an example

in the installation folder of

WinSLT with the name

„importmuster“

Spectral data

if you have spectral data in

an Excel table, it needs

following structure:

you will find an example in

4

you will find an example in

the user manual, page 29

 the step for wavelenghts

can be 1, 2, 5, 10nm

 missing spectral data will be

determined by interpolation

Extractor - Conditions

For extracting a coating to air:

 coated glass

5

 just one side is coated

 position is „front“ or „back“

 just one layer no VSG

relating basic glass has to be in the database

Extractor - Conditions

For extracting a PVB-Foil:

 VSG with 2 glasses

6

 just one PVB-Foil

 no coating

both glasses are the same material

relating basic glass and PVB-Foil has to be in the database

Extractor - Conditions

For extracting coating at PVB-Foil:

 VSG with 2 glasses

7

 just one PVB-Foil

 coating on position 3

both glasses are the same material

relating basic glass has to be in the database

Extractor – Select basic glas/PVB-Folie

the basic glass has to be selected for

all extractions

8

for coating at PVB-film you also have

to select the PVB-Foil

Extractor – Layer thickness

 coating to air/gas

− no input needed

− thickness is determined from the basic glass

9

 PVB-Foil from VSG

− thickness for both glasses

coating to PVB-Foil from a VSG

− thickness for both glasses

− thickness of the PVB-Foil

Extractor – Import to WinSLT

 the parameters are taken

from the spectral data

 information like group or

denomination can be

10

denomination can be

changed in the program

 a calculation shows

results in a table

Extractor – Import to WinSLT

 the button Import adds the

data to WinSLT

you will find the product in

the choosen category in

11

the choosen category in

WinSLT

Extractor – Import in WinSLT

 now you can close the

Extractor and open WinSLT

 the imported layer can

now be found in the folder
