  • WNNING WITHWTCHCRAFT

I HAVE ALWAYS tended to look upon life as a "battle,,for it seems one has to fight for everything onewants. Competition is universal and unless you are a"fighter" you never win the race. Everywhere one hasto compete: you compete with other women for the heartof the man you desire, you compete with other appli-cants for a job, you compete with other buyers for ahouse. Think seriously about modern life for amoment and you willsee how it is nothing but a series ofcompetitions. She who fails to compete fails to win.And in life there are only two options. Winning or tos-ing. lf you fail to win you simply become a loser, with allthe punctured self-confidence this entails. And thereis no such thing as a "half loser" or a "half win-ner". You cannot "half lose" a man to another womanno more than a politician can "half lose" an election tohis opponent. lf a politician loses by a mere one vote it

    11

  • may as well have been the same as a thousandvotes. lt makes no difference. He has lost. !f yourhusband is only "partially interested" in another woman, whatever that may mean, you have still lost him. Andthe loss is complete. He may still live with you andprovide your keep, but if his heart is even remotelyelsewhere you have lost him.

That is why I have decided to call my book "Winningwith Witchcraft" because if there is one thing witchcraftcan do for you it is to make you win. I discovered thisover 20 years ago, when still in my teens. ! alreadyknew something about witchcraft as the result of severalyears of being amongst gypsies following my abductionby them as a child. But I didn't think I could actuallyplan and manipulate circumstances and lead a vitually"charmed life" until I made the acquaintance of a realwitch, atrue magician and mystic, who laterbecame myadopted parent and dearest friend. "Gloria", we shallcall her, was a woman who understood what "winning"was about. Unlike the gypsy "witches" ! had known,Gloria was a woman of profound knowledge and under-standing of occult matters. Gypsy practitioners rarelyare gifted in a true occult sense. Whilst many of theirspells and charms are very efficacious indeed, andsome of them I shall give to you later in this book, theyare the product of tradition and primitive thought ratherthan the result of carefully calculated occult philosophyand practice. lt is fair to say that the PentagrammaticWitchcraft Rituals given in this book would completelybaffle and confuse the gypsy for such is the gypsy'soccult and intellectual limitations. However, I do notwish to imply any intellectual superiorityfor myself. Mystyle of grammar and writing will testify itself to my own

    12

  • obvious limitations. .

what you read will be exacfly as Ihave written it longhand. Unfortunately, or p",inapsLortunately, depending on the way One looks'at it, U,Finbarr, this book's publisher, insists on publishino amanuscript exactly the way it is written witn the v6ryminimum amount of embellishment or alteration fromhis editors. So my limitations are exposed for ail tosee. Neither can I profess to a great d'eal of originalityin the witchcraft philosophy and practice that-l shailpresent to you in these pages. Most of it is not new andperhaps some experienced witches would think thatthey could write better after reading it. Butthen I do notsuppose an experienced witch would want to read thisbook anyway. Very few real witches bother them_selves with this kind of "how to" book. They have noneed to. And I suppose there are many wit-ches whowould.disagree- perhaps vehemenily so

-with much ofwhat I say anyway.

This book is primarily for the person who is interestedin occult matters, who may or may not have already hadsome practical experience of such things, who wislies toincrease her or his knowledge of witchcraft in a practicalmanner. I am stressing the material and physicalbenefits of witchcraft practice because it has atwaysP9"n my experience that these are the things whi6ninterest people the most. say to one that witc6craft willhelp increase wisdom and spiiitual growth the responsereceived will be indifferent or -mildly positive atbest. But say to a person "use witchcrah and you canbecome rich or win love" and his or her eyes will light upimmediately. When I came to Mr Finbair,s office"aOoutpublishing this book I asked him why did he seem to onlypublish and sell books that promi6e material reward6

    -

    13

  • rather than spiritual advancement? His reply was nogreat surprise. "l have sitting on my shelves booksthat espouse the deeper meaning of the occult arts. They have been sitting on the shelves so long nowthat Iam sick of the sight of them". By contrast, said MrFinbarr, the books promising all kinds of riches by usingthe occult, never had time to sit on the shelves for thedemand for them was constantly high. I would haveliked to have written a book which dealt more with thedeeper, philosophical implications of witchcraft for whenone has practised the Ar1 for over two decades, andreceived almost every possible physical and materialbenefit from it one begins to look for deeper and moremeaningful things. But appreciating that my readerwill not have had such lengthy practical experience inwitchcraft I shall concentrate on the practical considera-tions and demonstrate how, by using witchcraft, you canbecome a winner rather than a regular loser. Heedwhat I have to say, and perform the instructions dili-gently, and conscientiously, you can truly expectto lookforward to a wonderful new life through the awesomepowers of witchcraft.

  • BEFORE LEARNTNG the art of witchcraft we must firstunderstand what we mean by ,,witchcraft,,, anOIy in-eexpression "witch". The popurar tradition or wittrresand witchcraft as being the pioduct ot superJtitiorliomisguided old women is tdrtunately one tnit i. *;beginning to fade with the dawning 6t tnis New Aqe-ofenlightenment. witchcraft far frofi being srperstiiio,-Lis in fact often quite scientrric. The6"ril'i. lt is highly probabl-e that most of thesewretched creatures were not "witches" in the true mean-inoofthetermatall.Givingtheatmosphereandten-siSn oftnose infamous times one had onlyto be heard too";;t"r[ing of the power of the heavenly b-odies" t9 beimmediat6ly suspected of being an evil servant ofS"t"n. Those iri charge of the witch hunts had to pla-ciie puoric opinion or church concern and, as is alwaysG-iui" in'such situations, "scapegoats" had to P9iounO. One can draw a parallel with today's*oilO *n"re "tax harassment" ratherthan religious har-assmentismorecommonplace'Avindictiveneigh-Oour nas only to write an anonymous letter, ormakeanunony.ors;phone call, to the lnland Revenue sayingtnrt.o-rnd-do is not declaring his full quota of incomeanJ naturally the Tax lnspector is only too pleased toiollow the matter through. whether or not such analleoation is true is neith-er here nor there. The fact istnritn" p"rson informed upon will be put to a great dealof in.onr"nience, and possibly harassment which is

    18

  • exactly what the informant wants. Being innocent isnot going to be of much comfort to the victim. Fortu_n.ately. in today's world one is not going to be burnt at thestake because of such matters but in days of yore it wassimply "bad luck" if the stake was what uitimaiety waitedfor you.

So what ls witchcraft and who is a witch and whatdoes she look like? Witchcraft can be defined as beliefin, and the invocation of, supernatural agencies for theattainment of personal desires. A witch is, of course, one who practices witchcraft, but what she /ooks like isless easily definable. As we have seen, it is mostunlikely that the wretched old toothless hags of oldentimes were witches at all. The realwitchesirrrere prob-ably very beautiful women, far from poor, in situationsfar removed from the suspecting eyes of witch huntersand religious fanatics. lt has atways seemed obvious!9 r", although it seems to evade the thoughts of most, that a true witch by the very nature of hei craft wouldalways elude persecution foi what good was her craft toher otheruvise? ln reality the moie insutar, importantand less suspected a woman was/is the more titbty thatshe is a witch. lf you suspect a woman of being a witchand she has no personaicharm, is always ,,ircf.Vlnlove, and possess no wealth then what

    -manne, of a

witch is she? That she may read witchcraft books andbelieve in such things does not make her a witch. Awitch is only as "witchy" as the aura of charm and powershe projects. ln today s world there is no sure way ofascertaining a witch by her appearance. There neverhas been a definite way of recognising a witch by out_ward appearances.

  • I think that the first requirement of a genuine witch is tobe proficient in her Art. And as witchcraft is all aboutpower, spiritual and wordly power, outward materialpower should be very obvious in her life. And that iswny you have bought tnis book. To learn witchcraftand ittain power. Without witchcraft I do not knowwhere I would be. Perhaps wrongly I have come todepend too much on it over the years. That witchcrafthab made life easy for me would certainly be a momen-tous understatement. Although I do not drive aroundin a Jaguar or live in a mansion I never lack for any-thing. -l am sure I could get thos-e luxurious things if Iwanled them for through witchcraft nothing is unobtain-able. But frankly, hoping I do not seem childish orpretentious, suchihings have never really app.ealed thatinuch to me. Maybe it is because I am a little inse-cure. Some people seek security in many materialthings, but such things have an-oppos.ite effect.onme.- i think it could 5e because I would be afraid oflosing those things once I acquired them. Of course

'you [ray say that I should use witchcraft to keep suchihings, tiut it-is really a "Catch 22" situation. lf inwardlyone-is'fearful the sirbconscious will thwart the effect ofyour ritual. Hence you may perform a witchcraft ritualio remain rich, but your fear will make sure that youdon't. I am not saying that witchcraft has made meperfect. ln fact, if ahything it has made me lazy. Forihose things I have wanted I have obtained quicker byusing wit6hcraft instead of ordinary conventionalmeans. A witch will always be a positive person; not anegative, complaining type. If she is negative it willreflect in her witchcraft work which will be unsuccess-ful. She should also be a "glamorous" person, and I donot mean glamour in the sense of a shapely figure and

Self-styled "Witch Queen" of America, Lady Shgb.a'nai Laid inat tne successful use and practice of witch-Craft depends upon four main ingredients- ..Jn"t";ingreOi6nts" are Will Power, lmaginalql'

    22

  • dwell a little on these four main ingredients of successfulwitchcraft. Understand them and apply them and youwill become an unstoppable winner in every-thing. Let's first deal with Will Power. Without willpower you can get nowhere. lt is that quality of fixity ofpurpose, a determination to get what one wants. Willpower and its development is no difficulty to the personwho truly knows what.she wants. Many people claim, for instance, that they "lack will power" in trying to giveup the habit of smoking. What they really mean is thatthey are not really sure if they wish to give up the habit ornot. Once one has decided something, and has com-mitted one's self to it, the problem of "poor will power"does not enter into the situation. Time and time again Ihave seen smokers who claim they have "no will power"display an astonishing degree of this quality in someother situation to which they arereal/y committed. Theonly "problem" in their failure to give up smoking issimply their sheer lack of commitment to the idea. lnwitchcraft you have to be committed; you have to knowexactly what you want. There has to be not the slight-est shadow of doubt or hesitation about the nature ofthe thing you want. When you decide to cast a spell orwork a ritual towards a certain end you have to feeltotally committed to it. Any doubt will be reflected inthe result of your working. The second cornerstone ofsuccessful witchcraft, lmagination, is also in the samesituation as Will Power. People complain of poorimagination, thatthey "cannotvisualise". This again issimply not true. A woman who bemoans her poor abil-ity to "make mental pictures" will certainly find herself inno difficulty in being asked to mentally picture herself inan exquisite evening gown or in the bed of her favouriteTV or film star. Again it is merely a lack of fixity of

I feel that I should spend a few moment on this matterof seciecy. lt is today fashionable. to be "opel" and tellererVOoOV that one's a "witch". lt seems to be a gen-;;; i;flr6nce of the ushering in of the New Age ofAquarius that what should be best kept quiet is nowindteaA broadcast from the rooftops. • to function efficiently as a sorceress. Secrecy ispower. That is why from time immemorial most sens-ible witches and warlocks have always kept their beliefsand activities secret. Members of Witchcraft Covenshave been sworn to secrecy on pain of death. !n oldendays this was as much for the protection of the covenagainst discovery by the authorities who would mostcertainly have dealt with witches in a severe manner asit was for the preservation of power amongst thewitches.

I cannot quite understand why so many witches todayare "going public". ln the States many witches are rnfact well known personalities, often appearing on TVshows, writing magazine articles. One wonders howthey can have any witchcraft power left for their spellsand rituals when so much of their psychic energy isdissipated. Also, being on public view, they are easytargets for the mischievous intent of rival witches jeal-ous of their fame. An evil witch needs only to possessa newspaper picture of the famed witch she seeks to"attack" in order to form a very potent psychic energylink between her and her victim that could have verygrave consequences for the latter. Some witchncelebrities" play it safe by not allowing themselves tobe photographed unless they have protective talismansplaced on their foreheads. This accou nts for the ratherstrange pictures one sees of such popular witchcraftauthols as Al Manning and Yvonne and Gavin Frost. Ibelieve that total secrecy on the part of the witch buildsher own personal power to work effectively at hercraft. Public exposure makes you "public property"therefore a portion of your psyche has been taken fromyou. Maybe I am a little fanatical on the point of

    26

  • secrecy, but I have never regretted it and am convincedthat my witchcraft workings have greaily benefitted fromit. Only my husband knows thet I am a witch. Notanother soul in the world is aware that I am a witch save,of course, this book's publisher. I have nere, belonged to a coven or any organisation of witches ofany kind. Contrary to popular opinion one doesn't have to pos-sess.special powers, or to have been born into a familyof witches, in order to practice witchcraft. Witchcraftcan be practised byanyone of average intelligence;onlyan interest in the subject and your desire tolucceed isall you require. You don't have to join a coven orundergo arduous "initiation tests" in or-der to become awitch. You will become a witch the very moment youcast your first spell from this book. Th-ere are miny"secrets" of witchcraft and one book couldn,t containthem all. This book is not intended to be a completebook on the subject. Witchcraft is too wide and vbst asubject to condense into one single volume. Also, con-trary. to popular tradition, witchcraft is not a practiceconfined to the female sex. Women, because of theiremotive and "bitchy" natures, have always been more

"Bright is The FlameHot is The FireRed is The ColourOf My Desire".

Your desire is now being consummated in thissymbolic act of passion. The paper con-tained your desire. The flame symbolises thepassion of your desire. Your desire is nowsealed.9. Repeat this spell every night (or in the day ifit suits your circumstances better. However, witchcraft works better at night) until you haveperformed it for nine consecutive nights. Thenumber 9 is the occult number of completion,of fruition. After nine days your desire will befutfilted.

Far f rom beingsuperstitious baloney Witchcraft -is rooted in Oeeilogic. Witchcraft was the only "science" that existedbefore the advent of what we now identify as "modernscience". Witchcraft is the science of nature and itsrelation to man's psyche. Modern science concernsitself only with the functional aspect of nature, ignoringentirely its relation to the psychical needs and demandiof man. True science can only be comprehendedthrough the total application of man's psyche. TheAncients understood these things and consequenilywere able to perform acts which modern man considerto be "miracles" and which the one-dimensional logic of

  • To Keep a Man TrueOncg you have got your man you will need this simpleritual to sustain his love and devotion. Allyou have todo is to secure his nail clippings and mii them withyours. Then burn them together at midnight and say:"As the Flame Burns so is the Love Between Me andHim Consummated. Our Destiny is lntertwined; TheBond Between Me and Him is Complete and Everlast-ing". One does not need a witch's mind to understandthe symbolical meaning of this simple ritual. • young children. This may not be so easy ifyou wish to conceal from your friend what youare up to so perhaps you may have to "borrow"it, without her knowledge. To buy a new, unused diaper in a shop will not do for it has notyet been impregnated with the vibrations of achild's flesh. lt is these vibrations which youseek to magically transfer to your own body.2. Before going to bed tie the diaper aroundyou as you would a bikini bottom. Now slip amoonstone charm down the front of it. Themoonstone is ruled, naturally, by the Moonwho is Goddess of Fertility.3. Get into bed and visualise as vividly as youcan that you will have a baby soon.4. Now go to sleep. That is all there is to thisritual. Your subconscious will now act uponthe seed of these simple magical steps and willtransmute that seed into a physical one withinyour womb. Obviously you should arrange tomake love with your husband on the next nightor the earliest night available.

To Get Rid of a LoverThis ritual is not quite so simple as the previous ones, but it is wellworth the effect if you find yourself burdenedwith a man who simply cannot get the message thatyour relationship has outlived its usefulness. This is avery powerful ritual from the Far East which some woulddescribe as "black magic", but frankly I consider a loverwho is clinging to a party who is no longer interested tobe himself unconsciously practising a form of "blackmagic" for he is draining his disenchanted partner of

.of. thechurches that has always been the real underlyingcause of the neurosis they have developed concerningthe subject. Satan himself is a creation of thechurche6; he is more real to them than he is to thetraditions of witchcraft. Satan is not one of the gods ofwitchcraft; witchcraft has many deities who have beenboth worshipped and invoked for thousands of yearslonger than before both "God" and "Satan" camealong. Witchcraft is a definite religion, called by sometne ;OtO Religion" because of its great antiquity.. ltmust not be confused with the cult of Safanism which isdisowned by the witchcraft world in general. Satanismis a reactiohary cult to the established religious orderwith little new to commend itself except a tedious repiti-tion of denunciations and blasphemies of the churches'teachings. I can draw an economic and political.anal-ogy of-this matter by comparing the establishedc6urches with the established capitalistic system in theWest. The "satanists" are the Communist groupswho mindlessly condemn all and sundry that is capitalis-tic. One is simply a reaction to the other with very littletruly original about it. This will build your ego, make you moreself-asseftive and give you definite and real power overpeople. To any of my readers who feel that it is"unethical" to want to "gain power over others,, I sug-gest that you leave this ritual aside. Even if you man-age to overcome your reservations in favour of yourdesire to count as "someone" in the world I still suggestthat you do not do it. ln witchcraft commitment ai6othconscious and unconscious levels of your mind is anabsolute necessity for obtaining success from spellsand rituals. Doubt and scepticism in the lnnerMind will ensure that it will not work for you. you can_not play around with witchcraft for amusement. youwill gain positively nothing from it if you are lucky and insome instances you could positively harm youiself.

Witchcraft SpeIIs for Miscellaneous MattersWitches have always had their own ways for magicallydealing with the many problems of daily living. - t wiltnow tell you about some of those ways, dealinglirst withhealth matters. Many people, esfecially th-e elderly, suffer with eye problems. Here is an old gyp.y spell foicasting out pain in the eyes:

1 . On a Sunday wash eye(s) with spring waterand saffron. Saffron is a herb which comesunder the astrological rulership of the Sun soperformed on "The Sun's Day" this spell is

    51

  • rendered more important. Should your con-dition be acute and you feel you cannot waituntil Sunday you can perform it as soon as youlike on any Oay. The ultimate decisive factorlies in the witbh's condition of belief' lf herbelief in the powers of her craft are strong sheis assured oi total success in her spell castingeverY time.2. As you wash Your eyes say:

    HT::,==#'^its#:There Go and Eat"'

    3. End of spell' You will feel an instant relieffrom pain. The pain will have left you com-PletelY bY nightfall'

This spell, as can be seen, employs the -magical

formula of "transference"' The pain is transferred tothe herb and then to the earth. This is a facet of manyspells and is a magical idea of-.greq! antiquity' .Evi-d'ence of it is even s-hown in the New Testament wheredemons, driven out of one who is "possessed", go intoan animal which is then killed by the ferocious conster-nation of the demons. Eye pains are bad, but fewigonies can match that 6f toothache. In followingT6othache Curse will give you immediate relief:

    52

  • 1. Light blue candle.2. With allthe concentration and force you canmuster say three times:

"Pain ln My Tooth DisappearOr The Black Mummyln The Great TombWill Take You".

    3. Extinguish candle.

lf you are in the grip of a serious fever then thefollowing famous formula will help you:

    AbracadabraAbracadabrAbracadabAbracadaAbracadAbracaAbracAbraAbrAbA

Repeat nine times on the first day, eight times on thenext day, seven on the day after, untiljust once on theninth day. This way you magically count out the dis-ease which may well disappear much quicker than theallotted nine days. lf you have some reason to believethat the disease has been cursed upon you by an evilwitch you should hold in your hand for three hotlrs a daya-ruby gemstone which is a powerful amulet for wardin!off psychically caused illness. Also hold the ston6when you say the "Abracadabra" formula.

  • Thinning of the hair is a problem which plagues mostof us as we grow older. Witches have a way of dealingwith this by trimming the hair a very little on the night of anew moon. The new moon is favourable for groMh ofevery kind. Some male witches ("warlocks" as theyare called) say that they have warded off baldnesscompletely by following this age-old formula. lf youare being troubled by a difficult neighbour, or anyoneelse making life a burden for you you can cause them tomove away by obtaining some soil from another countyand anonymously postthe offending person(s) a little ofit every day for nine days. At the end of this time theywill be making plans to go away. Witches are veryrarely the victim of theft, this spell being the reason why:

    1. Walk eleven times around the object to beprotected and say each time as you walkaround:

"Protected From Harm,Who Breaks This CharmWill Fall AwayThen Disappear to Nothingness".

    2. End of spell.

lf you are unlucky to have fallen victim to a thief thenyou should sit quietly and think very hard about theobject and actually will its return to you. At the sametime will evil on the thief if he fails to return theobject. Do this every evening until the object isreturned to you. Such concentration and willing istelepathically picked up by the thief who will have no restuntil he appeases his conscience. Finally a spell tobring money. Here is what to do:

    54

  • 1 . On the night of a full moon hold in the palmsof your hand the highest denomination ofmoney possible, (t50 or t20 note; less will do,but the spell will be less effective on smalleramounts) and say, looking at the moon:

"Moon, Moon, O Beautiful Moon!Fairer Far Than Any StarMoon, O Moon Let lt So Be,Bring Money and Fortune to Me,,.

Had.eno.ugh? Well, dear reader, that is a relativelytame black witchcraft spell. Most such spells ar6

    59

  • devastatingly gruesome, often involving digging up cof-fins, removing bones from the interred, and other grislyacts. For anyone who wishes to try the just quotedspell they will be out of luckfor I have left half of it out aswell as not disclosing the obscene ritual which goesalong with it. How would you like to be allhe receivingend of such a deadly spell? Yet such deadly magic isbeing practised every night the length and breadth of thecountry and through the whole world. This is the evilside of witchcraft, "black witchraft" as it is called; theside of witchcraft which gets all the publicity and givesthe Art such a feared reputation. I am not entirelydisaffected from black witchcraft myself as I believefrom time to time situations present themselves whichleave the witch with no alternative choice if she is tocontinue to live peacefully and without harass-ment. But much of the Black Art is hideously evil, based upon the lust for power and dominion for its ownsake. One needs the mind of a cesspool to practice itfor many of its rituals are grotesque in the extreme, involving animal sacrifices and other sickeningdeeds. Practising witchcraft is well and truly a "war ofnerves" unless you know how to protect yourself fromit. Whilst you may practice witchcraft to further yourown legitimate plans without harming others there maybe someone who is using the craft to quite unfairlycause you harm or even worse. That is one goodreason why you should never tell anyone that you are awitch for witches are notorious in their rivalries andjealousies of one another. I never associate myselfwith witches because of their small-mindednesstowards each other. They waste so much preciouspsychic energy in this petty way that they are able toaccomplish little else from the Art! I have always been60

  • a "lone worker" and I strongly suggest that you be the:qme. Seeking the company of other wiiches maybring you some new knowledge but it will bring you a lotof headaches too!! lf you desire to learn moie aboutwitchcraft than is revealed in this book there are plentyof good books which you can get on the subject. Therbis no longer any need to join "covens" for knowledge ofthe craft is no longer such jealously guarded pro-pe-rty. ln the meantime lwill give you some very pow-erful self-protection spells so that no witch will evdr getthe better of you.

White Witchcraft Blessrng SpeltI will begin with this "white" spell which is to be used onlyin a case of where you know the identity of the persontrying to injure you through black witchcraft- Onedoesn't, incidentally, have to be a fully fledged witch topractise black witchcraft. Black witchcraft is beingunconsciously practised every day by millions of peopl6who secretly hate or despise a rival or associate.

    ' Their

evil emotions generate an avuful lot of psychic energywhich can, unknown to them, actually lead to a greatdeal of bad luck in the life of the persoh at the recelvingend of their thoughts. A victim of a curse can alway6ascertain that he is a target by an inexplicable run of bidfoftune in his life. Unfortunately, it is not always soeasy to identify the source of the psychic attack, ar-iO it isquite often someone whom you would least suspect it tobe. The purpose of the spellto follow is to bleds ratherthan to curse your enemy; to cause him to have achange of heart rather than to wish him harm. "Let this Woman/Man Change His MindFill lt With the Peace and CalmOf Summer Warmth and Summer PeaceLet Them Feel Within Their PalmThe Tender Clasp of Hope and LoveAnd Ease Her Brow at Every StrainAnd Bless Her With a Distant HomeWhere She May Learn Her Truths Again"

The next spell is in total contrast to the one above andshould only be employed if you are certain that you arethe victim of a curse:

    1. Light a black candle on a Tuesday night.2. Speak with ferocious conviction and have inyour heart the following:

"Great Curse, Long Curse,Great Curse, Binding Curse,Curse the CurserLet Him Get What he Deserves"

    3. Repeat twice more and perform the spellagain on Saturday night and repeat each weekon the same days until you feel that the cursehas been broken.

Another very uncompromising curse-returning spellis the one which follows, based upon an old Assyrianformula. As any student of ancient history will knowthe Assyrians were perhaps the cruellest of allpeoples. The many nations they conquered in theirera of expansion were treated with a ruthlessness andcruelty which made the Persians and Babylonians look

    62

  • like pacifists. Not surprisinglytheir magic reflected theevil nature of their souls.

1 Ugn-t a black candte on a Tuesday night.2. Work up as much emotion as you can, let-ting your being become consumed with hate, and say:

"You, My Enemy,Whose Words Bewitch Me,Whose Lorg!" Attacks Me,Whose Lips Curse Me,

    Bind Your Mouth,Bind Your Tongue,Bind Your Eyes,Bind Your Feet,Bind Your Hands;

May The Evil That You WorkDestroy Your Body".3. Repeat Saturday night, and thereafter

Tuesday and Saturday of every week untilcurse is lifted.

With such force this reverse-curse will return to thecurser that she will wonder what hit her! The blast thatshe gets will be devastating. But herein lies a dangerin sending such a curse back to its sender. The sendermay have taken elaborate precautions to psychicallyprotect herself in the event of a comeback in which casirthe returned curse may not penetrate her aura and will, instead, rebound back on you with even greaterforce! Thele is yet another good reason for keepingyour witch identity a secret. lf an enemy who is a witchknows thatyou are also a witch she will take elaborateprecautions for her own safety before psychically attack-ing you, but if she thinks that you are not a witch she

    63

  • might not be quite so careful. Secrecy and prudencealways pays. Howeverthe chances are quite probablethat your enemy may not be a conscious witch, i.e.someone who curses you is ignorant of the possibleconsequences to them if the curses are "caught" andsent back, in which case you will be on safeground. To ensure your own psychical safety you cantake ten following steps:

    1. Place a large white cloth on the floor whichmust have been "purified" by you twenty fourhours earlier in the usual manner. Light ablue candle, blue being the colour of protec-tion.2. Stand in the centre of the cloth and using saltmake the outline of a pentagram such as illus-trated on the front cover of this book. Youshould remain at the very centre of the penta-gram.3. Now place your hands, one across theother, on your chest. Close your eyes ands pe a k *

  • anyone of poor reflexes to take up driving. Manypeople get hurt using witchcraft because they are simplyeither too immature or downright careless. Followin!the instructions carefully which I have so far given youand, providing you are reasonable and intelligent in yburpursuits, you willderive an immense amount of personalbenefit from your practice of the Art. Here are a fewpointers for the wise use and application of witchcraft:

    A. Only ever cast a spell for something youreally want or need. Do not cast spells for"the fun of it".B. ln love spells be really sure that you wantthe person concerned. Be sure that he/she isreally suitable for you. Witchcraft works.Cast a love spell in the right spirit and thechances are nine out of ten that it will stir theheart of the one you desire. But having gothim you may have second thoughts about himbeing "right" for you after all. You could findyourself with a difficult emotional situa-tion. True, you can always resort to the "getrid of a lover" spell given earlier to dispose ofthe situation, but the fact will then be that youwillhave used witchcraftto not onlyget him butget rid of him too. ln other words you willhave blatantly manipulated another humanbeing foryour own childish ends. You can dothis once or twice with witchcraft, but you willpay a high emotional price at some point. Foryears I used witchcraft to acquire for myselfmany lovers until I found myself hopelesslyhooked on a man whom I later discovered tobe a warlock, who gave me untold mis-ery. Besurethatyou reallywantthemanyou

    67

  • are after, because once witchcraft has got himfor you, you may not be capable of getting rid ofhim if everything goes wrong.C. Make "Wisdom Before Witchcraft" amotto. Only the wise really profit from witch-craft. The foolish damn themselves withit. Which will you do?D. Do not be scared bytalk of "demon posses-sion" if you practice witchcraft. This is thetalk of those who have absolutely no experi-ence of genuine witchcraft. And do not heedthe admonitions of the clergy. Two thousandyears of the Christian clergy has producedmore "demons" in black frocks than all of thewitches from the same period put together.E. Contrary to popular opinion no one cansuddenly be "possessed" bydemons. Demons are usually "invited" intothe aura by negative conditions already exist-ing within the aura. Demons do not suddenlyforce themselves into a person of good andstrong character. Even the most casual ofstudies of the subject will show that personswho become "possessed" are always those ofan extremely low mentaldisposition orcharac-ter. Visions of "devils and monsters"reported by alcoholics and drug addicts are notmere tricks of a broken mind, but a very realtestimonial to the existence of demons aboutto take over the souls of these most patheticpeople. Demons hang like vultures aroundthose of an extremely low morale. Thosesouls who lose complete control of themselvesare ripe for a full takeover by a vile demonic

    68

  • spirit. And once the demon is in he becomesawfully hard to get out. Manic-depressives,sadists, street prostitutes, and all those whohave lost self-respect, are all candidates fordemonic possession. Clearly such peopleshould never touch witchcraft! lf you have areasonably strong will and character you willfare well with witchcraft.F. Never practice black witchcraft unless youhave to.G. Don't kid yourself with the notion that youcan be a "white witch". There is no suchthing. "White magic" and "black magic" areextreme over-simplifications. The best youcan hope to achieve in life is to be a "greywitch" because life's problems themselves aregrey. Situations are rarely so cut and dried tobe "white" or "black" or "good" or"bad". Black magic can certainly help insome situations where the tamer "white"variety is inappropriate. But wisdom anddiscretion should be the order of the daybefore you decide on a "black" course.H. Remember you can become a witch thevery moment you choose. The moment youcast a spell for any purpose you are in thebusiness of witchcraft; you become awitch. Don't let anyone tell you that you haveto be a "natural psychic" to be a witch, or thatyou have to be in a coven for five years beforeyou can become one. This is the talk of"occult snobs" who hate the thought of per-sons with no experience becoming involved insomething that was somehow previously their

  • own "sacred property". Everyone haspsychicenergywhich can be released byburn-ing a candle and casting a spell. Try it andsee what happens!l. You can make up your own spells for yourown needs. Needless to say, if you are abeginner you may feel better with old tradi-tional spells such as those in this book. Forthose of an adventurous spirit all you have todo is to create a set of words which expressexactly what you want, preferably in rhyme, light an appropriately coloured candle, and doevery night until your objective is secured.J. For maximum effect always "feel" and"experience" the spell you make. Emotioncombined with imagination makes a spell avery potent instrument indeed.K. Never use a love spellto draw a man awayfrom his wife. This is fraught with psychicdangers.L. Those looking for a greater variety of spellsto choose from should refer to "How to TapMagic Power in Spells, lncantations, Prayersand Psalms" by Geoffrey Samson, wheremany very simple and safe formulae will befound. This book is published by Finbarrs.M. Beginners should beware of books whichbear the title of "Grimoire" on them. Theseare usually reprints of very old magical textswhich involve conjuring up powerful invisibleentities. The only "safe" Grimoire which Ican recommend is a new work called "TheMaster Grimoire of Magickal Rites and Cere-monies" by Nathan Elkana, published by Fin-

    70

  • barr Books. I have read many books onmagic and witchcraft, but nowhere have lseenso many really powerful occult secrets as Ihave in this new Grimoire. Unlike the oldGrimoires the formulae in this new work areabsolutely safe and can be performed by any-one.N. Using the right coloured candles is impor-tant for creating the appropriate vibrations inperforming witchcraft. White candles are forsolving problems, receiving inspiration, pro-tection, spiritual matters. Yellow is for intel-lectual matters whilst orange/red is for pas-sion. Use orange/red as opposed to pure redwhenever you can. Green candles act wellfor money matters, new ventures. Gold is forhealth and well-being, blue is another colourfor protection and purple is for higher spiritualmatters.O. Always write your spell out before usingit. This helps to impregnate the words in yourmind. You should never hesitate or stutterwhilst casting a spell.P. Buy adiary, "purify" it and use it for record-ing details of spells and rituals which you haveperformed. Make a note of things that hap-pen in your life after working a witchcraftritual. By such careful documentation youwillbe ableto keeptrackof the effectiveness ofyour witchcraft. Comparing your notes onspells that work to notes on spells that wereineffective you may be able to find a clue forthe failure of the latter.Q. Only use spells and rituals which you feel

    r

    71

  • comfortable with. Casting a spellthat seemsmeaningless or ridiculous to you will yield noresult for you whatsoever.R. No witch has ever been able to get herspells to work all the time. But it is notunreasonable to expect a 75% successrate. If your success rate is less than 507othen your witchcraft is in need of improve-ment. Azero success rate means that witch-craft just isn't for you. Try something likeJames Cullinan's "How to Change Yourselfand Your Life Without Willpower or Effort"instead.S. lf you are in doubt about anyone's sincerityor intentions try somehow to give her/him saltwhen she calls on you. Even if it is just to puta tiny drop of salt on her clothing you will havesucceeded in defusing any hidden ill within thisperson.

HOW TO RENEW YOURLIFE THROUGH THE

    POWER OFPENTAGRAMMATIC

    WITCHCRAFT

    73

  • THE WITCHCRAFT SPELLS and rituals which we havedealt with so far have been for what can be described as"temporary situations" . .. . . .a need of money

.need of romance .. . . .defeat psychic attack

.and so on. ln this chapter we are now going todeal with the use of witchcraft for permanent require-ments. Mental and physical renewal, spiritual awaken-ing, financial security, are some of the points we shallnow deal with. The rituals we shall now use are all tobe performed via lhe pentagram, lhe five pointed pen-tagon star which you see on the cover of this book, andon each chapter heading. The pentagram is perhapsthe best known of all occult symbols and it has beenused from time immemorial by witches in their cere-monies. The meaning behind the symbology hasmeant many things to many people. To Caballists(students of the system of ancient magic known as the

    -

    75

  • Cabala) it is the occult symbol of man himself; to theHebrews it represents the Pentateuch (the first five andTost important books of the Old Testament); toChristian mystics it has represented the five places inwhich Christ was wounded (head, two hands and twofeet); to many occultists it represents the four elementsplus the quintessence; and to others it symbolises thefive senses. One of the fascinations of the pentagramis that although it looks like a complex figure it can bedrawn in one continuous line without lifting the pen fromthe paper. Since it has an odd number of points it maybe depicted with either one point ortwo points upwards, and herein lies an interesting clue to the position ofwitches with regard to "white" or "black"magic. Witches favouring the "black" posture prefer itto be reversed with both points upwards. ln Satanismthe pentagram is always shown reversed to signify con-tempt for traditional spiritual and occult values. But,clearly, whatever form of occult thought or doctrine thatone adheres to it is indisputable that the pentagram is avery powerful occult tool indeed. Through this power-ful age-old symbol mysteries can be unlocked, visionsof other spheres obtained, divine illuminationreached. Through the power of pentagrammaticwitchcraft you can find your true self and undergo atransformation of your life.

The Pentagram Ritual of SeIf-R enewalThe one sure way to renew one's self is to find one's truese/f. Unfortunately, the false values of society and thefalse values we impose upon ourselves stop us fromever discovering who we really are. Most of us leadplastic lives, devoid of originality; divorced from real-ity. Most of us are frightened to discover who we really76

  • are; anything unknown to our blinkered, conditionedminds represents a threat to us. For those who aretired of being whatthey are not and courageous enoughto want to discover their "real" identity then this ritual willsignify a mental and soulic breakthrough for you. ln ityou will find your old self discarded and the wonderfulreal, alive you revealed. But before I proceed I feel thatI must caution anyone of a nervous disposition fromattempting this ritual or any of the others in the penta-gram series. Unless you have a reasonable degree ofself-confidence and thought control none of these ritu-als should be attempted by you. Unprepared theycould frighten or unnerue you. The mature, respons-ible reader will be blessed beyond measure from theserituals. But if you are in any doubt whatsoever aboutyour capacity to handle what is involved, for the sake ofthe Goddess, do not become involved. For a "newyou" and a new life here is what you do:

    1. Take a shower or a bath. This is a sym-bolic gesture of washing away the "old" and"false" you. Be conscious of this fact.2. Go naked to the room where you performyour usual witchcraft work. lf it is cold orinconvenient to be naked then wear a dressinggown or some other article of loose clo-thing. Nudity is preferred for it symbolisesthe real you, stripped of the artificial "clothing"of false thinking, false values etc. Psychi-cally nudity is of immense value in all witchcraftwork.3. lt is essentialthat, where possible, you wearno rings, watches or other metal objects. Thenudity should be as complete as you can make it.

    I

    77

  • 4. Lie on the floor, on a "purified" large whitecloth. Your head should be pointing northand your arms outstretched, east towest. Use a compass if you are unable toascertain which direction isthe north. By lay-ing with your head pointing north you are align-ing yourself to the planet's magneticfield. You are attuned to naturaland invisibleforces.5. Eyes closed, meditate for a few momentsupon the image and form of the penta-gram. Think on the thought that through thisage'old symbol a mysterious and wonderfulself-renewal experience awaits you.6. After this short meditation make a soft andsteady blowing motion as if you were blowingout a candle. Now hold your breath and con-centrate on the image of the pentagram.7. Let go when you cannot hold your breathany longer. Now take a deep breath andonce again hold it. Clench yourfists if neces-sary in order to hold your breath.8. The moment you cannot hold it any longerlet it all out in one go.9. Now breath slowly and regularly with theimage of the pentagram firmly fixed in yourmind.10. See the pentagram representing yourbody. The top of the star is your head; thehorizontal points are your outstretched armsand the lower points are your legs.1 1 . Now speak the following which you shouldhave learnt by heart before beginning the

    78

  • ritual. Speak with total consciousness ofwhat you are saying:

"Dominus Adjuto MeusHearken Unto Me ODivine Source ofLight and WisdomGrant This SupplicantTrue Knowledge ofHis Being. StripAway The FalseGarment of ArtificialityAnd Let the True BeingEmerge Into The Light. In Thee I Make ThisSupplication. Amen."

    12. Now picture a ball of brilliant light perme-ating within the pentagram. Picture the lightdisintegrating your false, negative old self.13. End of ritual. Get up and dress.

ln the days that follow your performance of this ritualstudycarefullyyourattitudes and habits. Thinkdeeperabout the deeper issues of life than you havebefore. You willfind a new source of positivity, aware-ness and understanding developing within you. At thevery least you will feel a better source of well-being afterthe pefformance of this ritual and at bestyou will experi-ence a total personal transformation. You can repeatthe ritual two or three weeks later in order to enhancethe effects experienced. I perform this ritual aboutthree or four times yearly to keep myself mentally andspiritually "charged". Before I used it ! was often proneto melancholia, and was often easily intimidated byothers. This ritual is really worth its weight in gold.

    79

  • Self-Healing Pentagram Rituatlf you are cursed with ill-health then frequent perfor_mance of this ritual will work wonders for you. Here iswhat to do:

    1. Take a bath or shower. Feelthat symboli_cally you are "washing away,, your ill5.2. Now follow the very same-procedure asoutlined in S^teps 2 to 10 in the pentagramRitual for Self-Renewal. lf you hav-e abreathing problem omit the br6athing exer_cises if they are too difficult.3. Having visualised the pentagram as rep_resenting your body speak with Conviction thefollowing:

"The Circle in The Centrels the Centre of My Being. The Points of the StarAre Rays of Healing Light. The Centre is NowTransformed lnto aFlaming Orb of Light".

    4. Picture a tremendous light penetrating anddisintegrating all negativ-e matter in -yourbody. You will feel a pleasant sensation asyou do this. Continue for five minutes.5. Now say:

"The Light Has TransformedAnd Renewed Me forWhich I Give Thanks".

    6. End of ritual. Now, if you can, go for a walkand see how marvellously different you feel.

    80

  • Obviously health problems of many years cannot becured overnight by such a ritual, but you will certainlyfeel a wonderful uplift in your spirit and lessening of yourproblem as a result. I suggest you repeat the ritualonce a week until such time as you feel totally healed, for persistence can bring "miracles". lt also stands toreason that in conjunction with such a ritual one shouldabstain from bad habits, dietary and behavioural, inorder to assist the healing process. Benefits obtainedfrom the ritual will be short-lived unless adequateamendments to health-destroying habits are affected.

Pentagram Ritual for Out-of-BodyExpenenceIt has been said that the popular image of the cone-hatted old witch flying through the air on a broomstickwas derived from psychics of the Middle Ages who sawwitches "travelling in the invisible world". Leavingaside the religious aspects of witchcraft (witchcraft is areligion and was universally practised as such beforethose well-meaning but misguided monks started travel-ling from Rome to teach us "better ways"), which I havedeliberately omitted, witchcraft is first and foremost theart and practice of supernatural power. Power is thename of the game. And in no area of witchcraft prac-tice is power so demonstrable as it is in the phenomenaof the "out-of-body experience". lt is in this area thatthe witch really comes into her own. By projecting theinvisible duplicate of her physical body (called the"astral body" by occultists which corresponds to the"subconscious" of psychologists although this may be aslight over-simplification) she can travel anywhere, seeand hear anything completely without the knowledge or

    81

  • awareness of others! There is nothing to stop a witchfrom using this technique to spy on heriover, her rivals, enemies, or what have you. ln this way she has adefinite lead in every situation; she can outwit enemies, censure or dismiss an unfaithful lover, uncover the sec-rets of friends and numerous other things. I haveheard it said that if witches can do these things, as wellascast spells to win power, wealth and love why do theynot all live in mansions, drive around in Jaguars, controlthe fate of nations? Well, in truth some of them areliving in mansions and controlling world events. TakeNathan Elkana, for example, author of "The MasterGrimoire of Magickal Rites and Ceremonies", which Imentioned earlier. Mr Elkana, I believe, is one of thewealthiest men in Europe, holds vast political influencein several countries, seems forever to be surrounded bybeautiful women, and looks almost thirty years younge?than his true age. And the extraordinary thing is that,as a young man he was penniless, in poor health, andwithout "good connections" of any kind. He puts downall his "luck" to the powers of witchcraft and ceremonialmagic. But I believe it must be more than that. All thereaders of his Grimoire are not going to become multi-millionaires and world Ieaders from practising the occultsecrets he reveals simply because they have no desirefor such things, or have the emotional or intellectualability to handle them. Any witch or warlock canbecome anything she or he desires to be in life if she/hewants to. lt is all a question of wanting, of desire, ofindividual quirks, needs and aspirations. Witches, inspite of the secrets they possess are after all, onlyhuman. Some witches have been destroyed them-selves through witchcraft by not being able to handle thebenefits they obtained through its practice. I once

    82

  • Xl..y of..a.young woman who constanily kept usingwitchcraft rituals for bringing men and mbney (a verydesirable combination!) with- the result that iri only sixmonths she had received almost a million pound-s byvarious spectacular means, and a dozen difierent menfighting over her. Not used to wealth she squanderedit foolishly, through naivety she lost a great deal of itthrough one of her lovers who disappeared when sherealised what was going on, she contracted a venerealdisease from another which she didn,t discover until ithad reached a serious stage. Becoming besotted withhergood fortune she began drinking too much, sufferedthe bad heads which accompanies Such a situation, andconsequently lacked the will or concentration to con_tinue using witchcraft. She became ovenveight and ill,the money.was fast running out and the men droppedout of her life one by one. The last I heard of hei wasthat she was in a mental institution. At the age of 2gshe was a'has-been', a washout. She clearlyiouldn, tcope with the consequences of her actions. Anotherwoman could have cast the same spells for money andromance, obtained the same results but enjoyedinstead a life of opulence, excitement and fulfilment.' ltis a sensible witch who recognises her limitations anduses the Ar.t to improve her life within the framework ofher capabilities. A woman who is confident andexperienced enough to_ employ witchcraft for gainingambitious objectives willfind out that the sky is t6e limitonce she has started. The ritualfor gainin! an out-of-body experience is as follows:

    1. Naked, or with only a single loose garmenton your body lie on a large white cloth on thefloor in the room where you normally do yourrituals. Jewelry and other metai obj-ects

    83

  • should be removed from your body. Thenfollow steps 2 to 10 of the Pentagram Ritual forSelf-Renewal.2. Now speak calmly and purposefully:

"Dominus, Adjutos Meusln Thee, O Lord, I TrustAlways. I Shall LeaveMy Body in CompleteAnd Total Safety. ThyPresence is AlwaysWith Me. I ShallEnjoy this Experience.ln Thee I TrustSo Mote lt Be".

    3. Now think of your body as a garment whichyou can wear or discard as you please. Letyour mind dwell on this thought.4. Picture yourself rolling over without disturb-ing your physical body. Visualise this asvividly as you can. Avoid physically mov-ing. Forget about your physical body; pre-tend it doesn't exist.5. Now mentally willyourself to rise above yourbody. You should be absolutely relaxed;there should be no tension in your mentallywilling. Be calm, relaxed and unpefturbed ifyou do not feel yourself rise.6. You will suddenly be aware that you arefloating above your body. You will see yourbody lying on the floor as if it was a completelyseparate entity. The sensation will feelstrange and a little unnerving, but as youadjust to what's happening the strangenesswill give way to exhilaration and wonder.

    84

  • 7. Now that you are free of all physical limita_tions you may now go wherever you please. Iwould suggest that on your first out_of_bodyexcursion.that you simple remain in your ownroom and. simply enjoy the thrill df havingby-passed physical laws. On future occa_sions you can become more adventurous andgo farther afield.8. ln orderto return to your bodyyou need onlyto "will" it to be so and within ah instant yourexperience will be over.

Wlen you have become used to the phenomena ofexisting without your body and it ceases to be anovel experience yoy may then go wherever youdesire. Distance or time will be oi no consequencewhatsoever, which brings me to the nextpoint. Because time and diStance lose all meaningonce you are out-of-body travelling it is very easy tbleave your body for many hours ilitnout Oding erenaware of such a time lapse. A few minutes in theinvisible world can be several hours in its physical coun-terpart. You must learn to be aware of the physicalworld; not to become so engrossed in your invisibleadventures.that you.may be toitally unawale of anytningwhich befalls your physical body in your absence. Al_so, long periods outside of the-body actually have anexhausting effect on it. I cannot fuily understanO wfrvthis is so, but I have often felt very tir6d physicaf fV atte'rbeing outside of my body and I believe tnis is a fairlvcommon experience amongst most witches. I think itis related to the fact that no matter how far tne asiraipoOy leaves its physical counterpart the two bodieJireforever linked by what occultists call a ,,silver

    85

  • cord". The physical body is supplying the energy forthe immense extension involved when the astral bodytravels thousands of miles. Although the silver cordand astral body are invisible entities for as long as theyare connected to a physical organism

    - directly or in-

    directly -

then they are dependent upon the physicalconnection to supply their energy. How the astral bodyobtains its energy once the silver cord has beensevered, as happens at death, I do not know. Some-one with a more scientific mind may be able to explainthese things better than l.

Demon Banishing RitualA concern of some people about out-of-body experi-

ences is that in the astral body's absence an evil entityor demon may take possession of
