Every day, IAC’s Network Security Specialists assess system-critical industrial technology and the connected networks that tie them together, identifying vulnerabilities and offering solutions that bolster customer confidence without slowing productivity.

IAC’s Network Security Specialists help our customers to answer these challenging questions:

• As the world becomes more and more connected, how secure is the network in my plant?

• Do I have a plan to address the ever-evolving risks presented by modern threats such as hackers and viruses?

• How will we respond if our security is compromised?

To find solutions, our specialists perform a comprehensive assessment of the customer’s current systems. Since we are an Authorized Distributor of Rockwell Automation products, we don’t just understand the world of industrial automation; we provide customers with the tools they need to make the most of it.

An IAC Network Security Assessment includes:• In-depth analysis of current

systems, including hardware, software and exchanged data such as ethernet packets

• Qualitative and quantitative evaluations that leverage both proven algorithmic assessment and emerging security technologies

• Easy-to-understand reports and analytics

• Prioritization of network risks and vulnerabilities

• Plans for improved system configurations, risk mitigation and actionable measures for prevention

The results of a Network Security Assessment are clear:

• Peace of Mind: It is easier to manage complex production processes when the customer is confident in the integrity of their systems.

• Improved Security: By proactively installing and maintaining proper security measures, the risk of a catastrophic breach can be minimized.

• Reduced Downtime: By eliminating security threats and network risks, resources can be used to manufacture products as intended.

IAC Winning Ways | Issue 4: 2018

You may not know this

about me, but I was a

fairly successful high

school football player

back in the day. They

called me and my

twin brother “double

trouble,” and I played

as both a running back

and a linebacker. Today, those two-way athletes

are becoming more and more rare (unless your

football program is low on players). Think about the

Pro Football Hall of Fame. With the exception of

players from the sport’s formative years, players

have found much more success when they have

specialized on one set of skills.

The best quarterbacks in history are experts at

passing, reading coverage and managing games.

Some of them found success by running the ball

too, but in general that leads only to the emergency

room and a short career – very seldom does it

lead to Canton. The history of sports in general

seems to indicate that winners are highly skilled

and knowledgeable at one or two jobs, rather than

being somewhat skilled at a whole bunch of jobs.

Here at IAC, we’ve built our business model

around that same way of thinking. The sales team

specializes in understanding our customers’

businesses, and pretty much everybody else

at IAC specializes in some other facet of our

industry. For example, we have an expert in HMI

displays, another in electrical panels, another

in manufacturing lubricants and still another in

janitorial products. Some are experts in products

while others specialize in services.

In fact, your expertise is what truly sets IAC apart

from our competitors.

The insights that you’ve gained by focusing rather

than generalizing, the passion that comes from

caring rather than treating people like a number

– those are the reasons that our customers find

us valuable and keep coming back. After all, when

you know pretty much everything there is to

learn about a topic, you become an important

resource to both our customers and your

teammates.

When it’s time to go for the win, businesses want

to partner with the team whose experts give them

the edge. That’s you – the specialists, experts and

team players here at IAC. Our knowledge helps our

customers to succeed.
