SISC preschoolers and parents connect creating art.
2. Find an engaging place for your child to
study. Work with your child to find out the
best place for them to study, ideally
somewhere quiet. Ensure that they have all
the materials and resources they need.
3. Break up their review time into small
chunks. Ask them before each “session”
what they are going to do in that hour. Ask
them to start each session with the hardest
bit first so they’ll get it over with first. (http://

First Holy Communion preparations
for Catholics underwayThe First Holy Communion is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable events in a Roman Catholic’s
life. In the Eucharist, the Lord becomes food for the soul in the appearance of bread and wine.
Children receive this sacrament solemnly for the first time in the First Holy Communion, and are
encouraged to receive it every sunday mass to maintain a close relationship with God.
The first communicants from Grade 4 will mark this momentous event in their spiritual life on November
18, 2017, 10:00 am, at the Presentation of the Child Jesus Parish in BF Homes, Parañaque City.
Students in other levels (Grade 5 and up) who are qualified and wish to join the ceremony may get in
touch with Ms. Juliet Catungal of the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Office in
Luxembourg Campus.
Details of the event and the schedule of practices will be contained in a special bulletin to be given to
the students who will be part of this celebration.
Secure term exam clearanceThe “Term Exam Clearance” should be presented
to the adviser/proctor on the first day of the
examination week for the student to be able to
take the exam. Those who have settled their
account as of October 5, 2017 will receive the
term exam clearance from the adviser.
The First Term Exams will be on October 10 -
12, 2017. Please settle your accounts at the
soonest possible time so we can process your
child’s Term Exam Clearance. Students who have
settled their accounts will be issued a Term Exam
Clearance with a reply slip to be returned to the
Class Adviser.
Below are the different options on how you may settle your school fees assessment:
Parenting Corner
Reviewing can be tough for both parents and
children when exams are looming. Below are
some effective and entertaining ways to help kids
review:
1. Mix things up. Encourage your child to
make notes, to highlight key points and
words and to go over each topic several
times. Find out if there are any TV programs,
museums, books or exhibitions relevant to
any of the courses.
