Windtec specialises in the design, development, manufacture and qualification of advanced composite products. We produce External Pressure Cans for: ROV, AUV, Seismic Industry, Marine Research/Oceanography. Buoyancy. And also ordinary pipes/tubes. Depth Rating 4000 m. Benefits: • Excellent strength due to graphite/epoxy structural, and tailored layers. • Compatible with chemically aggressive corrosive, and cryogenic fluids. • Excellent resistance to extreme temperature and pressure. • High leak and crack integrity • Resistant to abrasion, fire, and impact. • Extreme Weight to Strength advantages. • Tubes, pipes, spheres can be winded with titanium flanges with tailored penetration for connectors Windtec advanced composite subsea pressure vessels and housings are custom designed to meet the needs of each individual application, and offers significant advantages over metallic vessels. By manufacturing our subsea products using our filament winding process, we can tailor the properties of each vessel through customised winding patterns and material choices to offer low weight and extremely high pressure, fatigue and corrosion resistance unrivalled by metallic vessels of a similar price. Both the reinforcement and the matrix can be tailor-made to satisfy almost any property demand. This aids in widening the applicability of filament winding to the production of almost any commercial items wherein the strength to weight ratio is important. Apart from the strength-to-weight advantages and low cost of manufacturing, filament wound composite parts have better corrosion and electrical resistance properties, and therefore is a perfect application for advanced composite subsea products. Our development facilities include Finite Element Analysis, CAD, and composite analysis systems. This set up means we can meet individual customer requirements, often where close customer liaison is required. Our manufacturing facilities are highly flexible, capable of producing components in a spectrum of quantities, from one prototype to several hundred units. From small pipes, Ø 10mm to Ø 600MM and L 4000mm, on our 5 axis Winding Machine. We cooperate with several local companies with high qualifications in analysing and testing. All of these processes are supported by a flexible quality management system, meaning Windtec provides its customers with total service and consistently high quality products.

benefits:• Excellent strength due to graphite/epoxy structural, and tailored layers.• Compatible with chemically aggressive corrosive, and cryogenic fluids.• Excellent resistance to extreme temperature and pressure.• High leak and crack integrity• Resistant to abrasion, fire, and impact.• Extreme Weight to Strength advantages.• Tubes, pipes, spheres can be winded with titanium flanges with tailored penetration for connectors

Windtec advanced composite subsea pressure vessels and housings are custom designed to meet the needs of each individual application, and offers significant advantages over metallic vessels.

This aids in widening the applicabil ity of filament winding to the pro duction of almost any commercial items wherein the strength to weight ratio is important. Apart from the strength-to-weight advantages and low cost of manufacturing, filament wound composite parts have better corro sion and electrical resistance proper ties, and therefore is a perfect applica tion for advanced com posite subsea products.

Our development facilities include Finite Element Analysis, CAD, and composite analysis systems. This set up means we can meet individual customer require ments, often where close customer liaison is required. Our manufacturing facilities are highly flexible, capable of produc ing components in a spectrum of quantities, from one prototype to several hundred units.

From small pipes, Ø 10mm to Ø 600MM and L 4000mm, on our 5 axis Winding Machine.

We cooperate with several local companies with high qualifications in analysing and testing.

All of these processes are supported by a flexible quality management system, meaning Windtec provides its custom ers with total service and consistently high quality products.
