Dear Church Family,

Your faith is showing! God’s Fall Feast Season ends this weekend with the Feast of Tabernacles and seven days of giving, and many of you participated. We pray that you have been enlightened, encouraged and empowered.

As we go forward, we know the one thing we can be certain of is that our days will continue to be filled with extraordinary change and challenges. We urge you to do all you can to make sure you and your family heal and stay healed during this time. Here are at least three (3) ways:

• Heal your heart: DivorceCare, virtual recovery support group, Sunday, October 11th to Sunday, January 24th at 2 PM. Don’t go through the transition of separation and divorce alone.

• Heal your mind: Women’s Mental Health Symposium, “Boundaries in Family Relationships,” Saturday, October 24th at 10 AM. Everyone is invited to this virtual event to gain the tools for family success.

• Heal our land: Early Voting for Harris County residents, Tuesday, October 13th to Friday, October 30th at The KBC or The Power Center. Tuesday/Monday/Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM; Sunday, 12 PM to 7 PM. Exercise your voice and your vote.

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for helping me to release all control to You so that God’s Perfect Will for my life today is done. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

A FEAST OF TABERNACLES PRAYERAbba Father, thank You for calling us to worship You during the Feast of Tabernacles. Thank You, Jesus, for “tabernacling” among us. Lord, You satisfy us more than the richest feast. We will praise You with songs of joy.

Glorious Father, the Feast of Tabernacles belongs to You, and we appear before You, O Lord our God, with our special gifts. Lord, we come expecting Your presence, anointing, healing, power, joy, peace and love.

Heavenly Father, we pray for Your provision of both the time and the resources to continue to celebrate this festival in a way that will be pleasing to You. Holy Spirit, help us always to be grateful for God’s bountiful provision of all that we need.

Holy Father, forgive us for all acts of sin. Forgive those of us for being slow or reluctant to be grateful for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, You are King! Let the nations tremble! You sit on Your throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! We exalt You, Lord our God! We bow low before Your feet, for You are holy! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
