The Centre has 10 km oftrails expertly groomed forboth classic and skate ski-ing, and all trails are lit fornight skiing. The SeineRiver and the creek thatfeeds into it provide rollingterrain to complement themainly flat land.
Windsor Park Nordic Centre trails start from thespacious clubhouse at 10 Des Meurons Street, justnorth of Fermor Avenue and east of St. Anne’s Rd.

Technique Tune UpsFor skiers wanting to continue with weekly lessonsstarting mid Feb to end of season. Lessons are $20each or 4 weeks for $75. Make strides to improvingyour technique and fitness this season! Also open as“make up” lessons for all Learn to Ski students.

Skate SkiingLearn the ‘skate’ technique and you will wish winterlasted longer! Balance and gliding skills make thistechnique fast and fun. Lessons are once per weekfor 4 weeks. Lessons start in early January.Cost: $75

Rentals: We offer the largest cross country ski rentalselection in Winnipeg. Still, sizes are limited and rentalscannot be reserved. Please arrive early so staff can assistyou. Equipment can also be rented from local retailers.
Fees, Payment: Program fees are subject to GSTand include instruction only. Payment is due at time ofregistration. Extra fees will be charged for trail pass(non-members) and rentals (if applicable). Payment bycash, cheque, debit or credit card.
MISSED LESSONS AND CANCELLATIONS:Lessons may be cancelled when air temp and/or windchilltwo hours prior to lesson is -30ºC or colder at The Forks, asreported by Environment Canada website & reported at204 983-2050. Call Windsor Park to confirm. Cancelledlessons will be “made up” in mid Feb. or next season. 24 hr.notice required if you want to make up a missed lesson.
Learn to Ski Learn the important fundamentals of cross country skiing in a group setting. Weekly 90 minutelessons run over four weeks. Our ‘Learn to Ski’ seriesis the perfect way to get maximum enjoymentthrough this fun winter sport. New skiers havenever skied before or skied very few times.Beginners cannot ski without poles for balanceand are uncomfortable on gentle slopes.Intermediate skiers are comfortable on skis, ableto balance and glide for a short distance withoutpoles and can stay in control on moderate descents.Not sure where you fit? Consider attending a“Welcome to Windsor Park” session. Lesson setsstart in mid-December.Cost: $75
