1.1 New Features

A new report module has been developed as an add-on feature as per AT&T national

ASG team phase 3 standards to produce RF-Validation & RF-Optimization (CA) reports. Quick start guide for this module is available separately with the release. For trialing this feature, contact support@xceedcorp.com or call at 703-714-1966.

Ver. 3.1.9.0 supports log files recorded with TEMS Investigation 14.5 and TEMS Pocket

12.4 Grey Out Unavailable Metrics

A new configuration for the UI is being introduced in ‘Processing Defaults’ called ‘Greyout Unavailable Metrics’. By default this option will be checked ON.

This feature will make certain metrics on the UI un-selectable for which there is no data in the dataset. If you are working with datasets that were processed with any version of WindCatcher Plus older than 3.1.9.0 then please uncheck this option and then open the dataset.

1.4 Installation Instructions

If a previous version of WindCatcher Plus is already installed on the computer, it must first be uninstalled using the Windows Add/Remove program before proceeding with the installation of the new version. The Add/Remove program may be accessed from the Windows Control Panel. Please install Microsoft Framework 4.0 from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851 The link includes “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 client profile Framework 4 Extended”. Once Microsoft Framework 4 is installed, users can verify complete installation by checking the following installs using program list.

All windows applications must be closed prior to WindCatcher installation. If stand alone license (Dongle) is in use, the user should unplug the dongle before starting the installation. Download the WindCatcher.msi file and run it to begin the installation. Follow installation steps and click Finish when complete.
