Business Year in ReviewIs change needed?

Foley Marine & Industrial Engines was founded in 1916 making them theoldest engine distributor in the U.S. specializing in industrial engines,replacement parts, industrial power takeoffs, and exhaust scrubbers/purifiers.

New Year ~ New JobBe Cautious of Releasing Personal Information

For some, a New Year means a new job search. Whichever search siteyou choose when looking for employment, be cautious and don't jump atevery opportunity that appears to be too good to pass up. Believe it ofnot, there are people out there looking to scam the innocent even whensearching for a professional position. One of the more popular sitesscammers post to is Craigslist because there is less verification andtracking.

Do yourself a favor, take the time and research the company you'reabout to invest your time into. If it sounds too good to be true, it may bejust that. The scammer will ask you for your personal information and then you won't hear fromthem again. To read the complete blog click here.

Proper Maintenance and SecurityMicrosoft Office Flaw finally Patched

Does your office practice proper maintenance and security against the latestthreats, like Sandworm and CryptoWall 2.0? This particular threat allows ahacker to take over the entire system, making it an exceptionally dangerousvulnerability that you can't ignore. Thankfully Microsoft has released a patch toplug this security vulnerability. Microsoft issued the security advisory which states that the vulnerability allows forremote code execution. Even worse, the vulnerability can be found in most

supported versions of Microsoft Windows, excluding Windows Server 2003. Users can trigger thisvulnerability by opening an infected Microsoft Office file which contains an Object Linking andEmbedding object, or an OLE. If the hacker is successful in exploiting the vulnerability, it could meana completely compromised system on your network. These hackers could then proceed to delete data,install malware, or other sketchy activity.
