WILK caravans are characterised by their high load-carrying capacities. Thanks to innovativesolutions such as the use of high-strength steels in the chassis and the intelligenthoneycomb technologies used in the construction of the fittings and furnishings, we havebeen able to achieve low unladen (tare) weights for our WILK caravans.

Legal requirements stipulate that the information on the weight of a caravan must indicatethe "mass of the vehicle in running order" and the “maximum authorized laden mass”(DIN EN 1645-2).

The mass of the vehicle in running order is defined as follows:

Mass of unladen vehicle

+ liquid gas bottles (100% full)

+ fresh water tank (100% full)

= Mass of the vehicle in running order

The “maximum authorized laden mass” indicates the maximum authorized mass of avehicle (including any optional extras / accessories / packages and gas, water, luggage andloads, etc.) when driving.

What does this mean for the users of our caravans?

The most important figure from a user‘s viewpoint (i.e. the maxi-mum load-carryingcapacity for luggage, loads, gas, water, etc.) is calculated as the difference between themaximum authorized laden mass and the mass of the unladen vehicle.

Example:

Maximum authorized laden mass 1.400 kg

Mass of unladen vehicle 1.090 kg

Maximum load capacity 310 kg

(luggage, loads, gas, water, etc.)

The mass of the unladen vehicle is determined by weighing the vehicle with all its standardfittings (without optional extras, accessories or added packages).

Please note that optional extras, accessories and packages may reduce the maximum load-carrying capacity of a caravan due to their impact on the mass of the unladen vehicle. Asthe user of a caravan, you are responsible for ensuring that the “maximum authorized ladenmass” is not exceeded when driving.

General information:

• The unladen weight of the vehicle increases when optional equipment are added. Theinformation given for weights and dimensions may vary by ± 5%.

• Unladen weight (in standard, dry condition with no optional equip-ment fitted) ± 5%possible deviations.

• We reserve the right to make minor changes to the design, shape, equipment andcolour tones.

• All the stated accessory prices are valid for factory-installation and are recommendedretail prices inclusive of installation costs and applicable value added tax, providedthat the accessory order is part of the new vehicle order.

• In case of retrofitting the actually arising costs will be charged.• Installation of accessories and extra features will reduce the payload allowance

stipulated for your vehicle model.• The content of this list of fittings is valid at the time of publication and applies from

1 june for the 2013 model year.• Any previous specifications automatically cease to apply. No liability shall be

accepted for errors or misprints.• The water supply system is minimum state of the art (10/2007) (Regulation

2002/72/EC)
