LTE Radio Network Planning, 3 days
LTE Radio Network Planning course is designed for RF and planning engineers. The goal of the course is to
explain specific mechanisms of OFDMA-based LTE system which influence network performance and at the
same time have an impact on a proper network planning and dimensioning. LTE specific procedures and
parameters are outlined and discussed in the context of network performance. Coverage and capacity
planning aspects are explained, with details relevant for radio link budget calculation. Initial parameter
settings as well as specific aspects of network self-organization (SON) are given.
