 There are many people in this world who are non-Muslim do not understand

the meaning of fasting. However, instead of understanding the meaning of it,

the non-Muslim tend to disrespect people who are currently doing their

fasting. There are many reasons for this condition and sometimes, it can be

controversial for some people. This essay shall explore some reasons why

should non-Muslim respect those who are fasting.

Firstly, it is easy to understand why the Muslim do their fasting. Preserving

their religious rules is one of the reasons. However, since there are some

people who intentionally disturb people who are fasting, we should not follow

them. n contrast, we can be di!erent and act religiously by respecting them.

For example, we should not deliberately eating in front of people who are

fasting.

Finally, people who are doing their fasting must be very discipline toward

their religion rules. )s they are respecting their religion, li&ewise, we should

also value their desire. For this reason, we as #hinese descents of ndonesia,can live peacefully with the natives as long as we respect one another.
