a) to function as a national coordinating body for

Nepal-related associations and societies (hereinafter

called "the Associations") in the Americas

b) to function as the National Coordinating Council of

NRNA for the USA and to promote the interests of

Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) and People of Nepali

Origin (PNOs), here in, North America.

In 2007 NRN meeting at Nashville, NRNNCCA of

the USA agreed to support following projects: E-library project initiated and sponsored by Dr. Shiva

Gautam and Mr. Aditya Jha: Currently computer labs are provided to 15 high schools in collaboration with Kathmandu University and Public Library project of NRNA.

Microloan Project initiated and administered by Friends of Nepal in NJ. That provides loan for widowed and underprivileged women in Kathmandu & Jhapa District in collaboration with Mahila Adarsha Seva Kendra

US NRNA Projects- 2US NRNA Projects- 2 Dalit Scholarship Program initiated and managed by

Empower Nepal Foundation. Nepal Study Center initiated and managed by the

Nepal Study Center at the University of New Mexico. NSC has multiple programs. NRNA is committed to support their initiatives on research on Nepal and micro loan project in collaboration with KIVA Foundation.

Trolley Project initiated and managed by Global NRNA. USA is committed for 25 trolleys for Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu.
