  • 3. Definition of foodGood health helps you thinkclearly and get along withothers at school. Good healthkeeps your body workingproperly so you can enjoyyour play. Good health helpsyou look and feel your best.
  • 4. What are the food groups?
  • 5. Vegetable- fruit groupMost of the nutrients in thesefoods help your body work as itshould.You need four serving from thisgroup each day.
  • 6. Bread-cereal groupMost of the nutrients inthese foods give your bodyenergy. You need four servingsfrom the bread-cereal groupeach day.
  • 7. Meat-poultry-fish-bean groupMost of the nutrients in these foodshelp your body grow.You need two servings from themeat-poultry-fish-bean group eachday-
  • 8. Milk-cheese groupThe foods in these group have manydifferent kinds of nutrients.Some nutrients help yor body grow.Some nutrients give you energy.Some help your body work as it should.You need three servings from the milk-cheese group each day.

In a recent statement he said that young people in the UK ate too much junk food. He added that young children especially did not eat enough fruits and vegetabes. One inventive food company has started to produced a range of vegetables with trendy flavuors to make them more attractive to children.
