WHAT KIND OF LIFE GROUPS CAN I PARTICIPATE IN? • Interest Groups: Building relationships, having fun, connecting with your

HCC family and those who would not normally attend church. These arecentered around special interests.

• Life Enrichment Groups: Growing together in the Word of God andproviding a pathway to spiritual maturity and leadership.

• Support Groups: These groups are about winning in life and bringingsupport and recovery regarding serious life issues.

• High Five Groups: People serving God and one another through serving inthe Ministry of Helps and Outreach. They build community in the team whileaccomplishing ministry tasks.

HOW LONG OF A COMMITMENT DO I MAKE TO A GROUP? All life groups have an entry point and an exit point for people to enter and leave. Some are once per month, some are weekly and some are on an as-needed basis.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Go to the HCC website at www.harvestturlock.org. You can expressinterest in a Life Group at any time during each trimester.

You also may contact the HCC office at 209-667-5683 or by email at lifegroups@harvestturlock.org.

Before the start of each trimester, sign up sheets and new booklets showing all the Life Groups available will be in the campus foyers. Trimesters are Summer (May through August), Fall (September through December), and Winter-Spring (January through April.)

In order to grow in our relationships, we need to get to know one another. Families need friendship and support from other families going through similar life challenges.

This group is video-based using the Daniel Plan book by Rick Warren. We will be centering on five essentials that will launch your journey to health: faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends! In this small group, you will be introduced to what the Bible says about your healthy body, new foods that will assist your growing health, and the encouragement of others on the same journey with you. You are welcome to come for encouragement and support even if you are pursuing a different health plan, such as low carb or Weight Watchers.

This is NOT the same as the Daniel Fast, but rather a balanced diet of veggies, lean protein, grain and fruit. (Real food, not processed.)

You will need the Daniel Plan book for best results. It can be purchased or pre-ordered at Revive Coffee and Books at the Downtown Campus.

Group results: Close to 100 pounds lost! Diabetic number went from above normal to normal, cholesterol numbers reduced, freedom from soda addiction, more energy, and
