WHO ARE WE SEEKING?The move to more agile and flexible working across Bidwells has given us the opportunity to refocus, reconfigure and make changes to our Planning team and its embedded services that include Research, Socio-economics, Environmental Assessment, Heritage and Urban Design. We are looking for new members to join our team; but who are we and what are we seeking?

I have taken great pride in the growth of Bidwells Planning since I took the helm at the end of 2013. We now have a presence in London and Oxford, in addition to our offices in Norwich, Milton Keynes and Cambridge, as well as adding complimentary services in Urban Design, Heritage and Economics.

We work on some of the most complex and challenging projects including the CB1 scheme for Brookgate in Cambridge; securing permission for 1800 homes and 300,000 sq ft of commercial floorspace at Dunsfold for Trinity College and relocating the world famous Annabel’s in Berkeley Square, London.

Clients work with us because we deliver and we deliver because we employ great people. We have invested heavily in our Cambridge HQ making it one of the most collaborative working environments in the property industry.

We are now looking to grow our team to support our planning team in Cambridge. You can be guaranteed to work on some of the most interesting and complex projects in the Region!

Over the past 18 months, there has been a significant change in the direction, structure and capabilities of the Bidwells Planning team as we have evolved to tackle the challenges of the current market, become more commercially focused and prepare for the future.

We are an established Smarter Planning Champion, an RTPI and RICS Learning Partner, hold accreditations for the specialisms we offer and we are one of only five property companies accredited by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.

We are looking for an Associate to take a leading role in the growing number of major new projects that we are supporting, especially in the Cambridge area; individuals who can operate in an environment where they are empowered to make decisions, comfortable in working directly with clients and will embrace the culture and ethos within which Bidwells operates.

You will be encouraged to take responsibility for projects and to work within a team of like-minded professionals across a multi-disciplinary partnership. We will also work with you in helping you develop your career and your own professional experience and knowledge.
