December 2012 WHSmith Australia now operate 20

sites and oversee a franchisee in Fiji

Our third channel was created when we acquired a hospital café

business in late 2012 called Fresh Plus that had 4 sites in:

1. Ryde Hospital Cafe

2. Lismore Hospital Café and separate Coffee Kiosk

3. Hornsby Hospital Cafe

We have since opened 2 units in another 2 hospitals with more due this

year. We are also rolling out 15 of our own vending machines into various

hospitals:

1. Port Macquarie Hospital- Café opened June 2013, Cafeteria due Aug 13

2. Blacktown Hospital- Café opened Jun 2013

3. Kempsey Hospital- Café opening Aug 13

In early 2013 we won a tender to open on the University of New South Wales

campus at Kensington in Sydney, Universities are our fourth channel where

we are actively looking for more sites:
