Introduced and gave first read-ing of an ordinance to amendthe City’s purchasing ordin-ance by adding Section 2-28 toChapter 2 of the Code of Or-dinances establishing policiesand procedures for FederalEmergencies and Disasters.

Authorized City staff to tempor-arily implement the proposedamendments to the purchas-ing ord inance re la ted topolicies and procedures forfederal emergencies and dis-asters, effective immediatelythrough July 27, 2020.

Approved loca l d ivers i ty ,equity, and inclusion effortsand partnerships within theMidland Community.

Approved Final Plat for Broad-head Estates No. 6 – for a res-idential subdivision of 8 lots on3.6 acres at the east end ofBroadhead Drive.

Approved Site Plan No. 400 –an expanded parking lot loc-ated at 1320 Waldo Avenue.

Approved a 2020/21 serviceagreement with the ArnoldCenter of Midland for janitorialservices at the Water Treat-ment Plant, not to exceed$36,000.

Approved 2020 Integrated PestManagement and Pest Re-mediation Agreement and au-thorized purchase order in theamount of $19,069 to RosePest Solutions.

Set public hearing for Monday,August 10, 2020 to considerthe proposed amendment toArticle 27 of the Zoning Ordin-ance modifying the Site PlanReview process. Council willfurther consider the adoption ofthe ordinance on Monday, Au-gust 24, 2020.
