THE ASSUMPTIONWe all know the saying about assuming. Your mother used to tel l you

al l the t ime, if you were ever a chi ld l ike every child that I know.

They had no ideal where the cheese came from or who put it there. They just assumed that it would always be there. The little people Hem and Haw became too comfortable with their situation. Having the cheese grew into a arrogance. They were so comfortable they didn’t even notice what was going on around them. Be aware of your environment and adapt to the changes taking place. I feel like each of these characters have been a piece of me one time or another. I relate to SNIFF. I like to plan for the future unforeseen events by continuously reevaluating situations. I take pride in being prepared for the inevitable and I find it is more comforting to look ahead while enjoying the present.
