QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT:What cultural activities do you practice at home or with your

friends? For example, are there certain foods you eat? Are there music, games, sports, or movies you play/watch? How do you express your faith and/or practice your religion (holidays, customs, family traditions)? What languages or dialects do you use at home? Does your race or ethnicity influence the way that you view the world OR that the world views you?

• Group member 1 explains 2 of their most important aspects of their identity and how they exhibit each of these aspects.

• Each other group member asks a question to the presenter about their identity.

• Group member 1 must answer question and add to their notes on their own identity.

• Intro paragraph - should follow ACTS – Attention Grabber, Connecter, and Thesis/Summary of the three aspects of your identity

• There must be three MEL-Con paragraphs, one for each aspects of your identity and have MI, EL, EL, Con within each paragraph: ONLY TWO EVIDENCE/LINK PER PARAGRAPH

• Concluding paragraph should follow STACS – Summarize three points and restate Thesis, Attention Grabber loop (tie back to your introduction) and Clincher (explain why your identity is important)
