Branding Changes/Updates
Accomplishments• Training Academy– 438 players participated from Dec - Mar– 68% of our Competitive Players– Each participant received an Academy Uniform
Accomplishments• Little Bears– Session 1 135 players– Session 2 119 players– Each participant received a Little Bear T-Shirt
Accomplishments – Cont.• Coaches Training– Last spring we ran a 5 week program in the dome– Included both classroom and on the field training– 31 coaches participated
Accomplishments – Cont.
• Team Training– Currently all of our competitive teams are training
one night/week in the dome• Hosted Eastern District Regional Tournament– Tournament was held at Hanifl Soccer Complex in
Hugo– Over 40 teams from our district competed
Accomplishments – Cont.
• Created the DiBs program– On-line sign up program to volunteer for club
events• Opened Concessions at Hanifl Fields– Tested during the Regional Tournament– Partnership between the WBSC and Hugo Lions
club– Will be running concessions for the entire 2012
season
2012 Initiatives
• Developmental Training Program– Beginning May 7th our developmental players will be
trained once a week by professional trainers– All Developmental players, regardless of age, are welcome
to attend– This program will be at no additional charge to the players
• Competitive Team Training Program– In April all competitive teams from U9-U12 will be trained
one night/week by a professional trainer– This program is being offered at no additional charge
Iniatives – Cont.
• Competitive Directors– In April the board will be appointing a Competitive
Director for both the girls and boys programs– Responsibilities include:• Oversee Competitive Team Formation• Work with DOC on the Tryout process• Provide oversight and assistance to the ALC’s• Attend the monthly board meetings• Act as East District Representatives to MYSA• Bring consistency amongst all of the age levels

• Micro Game Fields– Moved to lower fields at Polar Lakes Pak
