Where to goNice to see a number of fl ying events planned for the early months of the year, with the seasons so often seeming to be turned on their heads we could perhaps be rewarded with some perfectly reasonable early fl ying weather.

A number of the regular event dates have also been settled, recently announced are Duxford’s Bonus Days which I have put into the calendar, and once again we and our friends in France at the RSA will be holding a two-venue celebration with our ‘side’ being held in conjunction with the LAA Bonus Day on Saturday 8 June. The RSA venue has yet to be fi nalised but the plan will be to depart Duxford for an evening dinner and overnight in France. Booking details will appear in the magazine as soon as we have them.

Another LAA interest announcement is that Aero Expo will be celebrating everything RV by having a Van’s fl y-in as part of its Sywell event on 31 June, 1-2 July. GASCo safety evenings are listed separately, please support them, they are a very worthwhile way to spend an evening.
