"Making Memories That Last a Lifetime!"

PURSUIT OF AWESOMEDear Campers and Families,

Whether you are looking for your very first camp experience or you’re a seasoned “camp veteran”, Camp Foster is continuing our pursuit of being an awesome camp for the number one person here…the Campers. Our staff team researches, hires, and trains the highest quality staff to help each child discover a world of outdoor recreation. As we have for generations, and will continue to do, we offer one of the most important skills a child can have: relationship building. We know bullying is a very serious topic right now and our team of professionals have worked hard to create an atmosphere where the kids are free to be themselves, make friends, and celebrate everything about them that makes them shine. So, whether you are excited to come to camp to see old friends, or meet brand new ones, we are here to help your child shine and make that happen.

See you in Okoboji!

Josh CarrExecutive Director

DEDICATED SUMMER STAFFOne of Camp Foster’s strongest assets is our trained and experienced staff. Our college age summer staff completes a 10-day training learning Camp Foster’s traditions, values, programs, safety, and commitment to excellence to ensure your camper’s experience is the best. Your camper will have excellent supervision as we maintain a ratio of 1 counselor to every 6 campers. All staff receives extensive training before the season begins, undergo a criminal background check, and are supervised on a daily basis by professional camp staff.

THE CAMP FOSTER EXPERIENCEOur camp activities focus on developing new friendships, self-discovery through adventure, and fostering a sense of service to others. The progressive programs we offer will challenge each camper at an appropriate level, from giving our youngest campers an opportunity to try a variety of activities to giving our older teen campers the ability to choose specialized camp activities that meet their wants and needs. We pride ourselves on creating positive experiences that are as unique as each camper and making memories that last a lifetime.

Cabin Life: The cornerstone of a summer camp experience!• Every cabin has ten campers of similar age and two counselors.• To meet the needs of younger campers many cabins have their own bathrooms. Other cabins will use

the modern central bathroom facility complete with individual shower stalls and automatic faucets.• Older campers experience living in our tent decks – leading to the ultimate Eagles Nest experience.• Cabins are air-conditioned.

Camp is where I have met the most amazing people who are my true best friends. Camp is where I have learned to be myself. I find myself always talking about it and always telling younger kids to go when they still have the chance. Camp Foster truly changed my life. Never have I felt so welcomed, so at home, so at peace, and so myself.
