your wedding abroad. For example getting married in Fiji in January or Phuket in September is not a very good idea, as this is their monsoon season. Think carefully about when you would

like to get married abroad and choose your date wisely.

What is the average wedding price abroad? The average cost of having a wedding abroad is approximately

$7,500. This would include your flights, accommodation, transfers and a basic legal wedding package. No matter which

country you plan to get married in, you can still have your dream wedding abroad and achieve it on a budget.

Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which Select Vacations Pty Ltd Agency Lic. 2TA08524 accepts bookings.

Brochure Validity: 01 September 2014 – 31 March 2016. Your booking arrangements are to be made by you or your Travel Agent and the person affecting the booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions.

Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person must be received at the time of booking by the Company. However if we are unable to confirm the accepted proposal then the deposit is fully refundable. Bookings that have no deposits paid on them are subject to cancellation without notice. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Wedding Deposit: All resorts require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the wedding package price 7 days after confirmation. All confirmed wedding bookings that have no deposits paid on them are subject to cancellation without notice.

The balance of monies due to the company is to be paid no later than 90 days prior to departure. Inside 90 days full payment is due at time of booking however if we are unable to confirm the accepted proposal then the payment is fully refundable. If for any reason your balance of payment is not received by the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges. See below.

Cancellations and Refunds: Fees will be charged if you cancel or terminate your booking. The standard Select Vacations Pty Ltd schedule of cancellation fees are as follows:

- 90 days + prior to departure: forfeit of deposit - 89-46 days prior to departure: 25% of total cost or deposit, whichever is

greater

- 45 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total cost.

The above cancellation fees do not include fees levied by suppliers such as hotels, airlines, ground or cruise companies, which could be up to 100% of the holiday price. The non-refundable deposit cannot be transferred to another booking. The non-issuance of an invoice or the non-payment of a deposit, will not exempt passengers from these cancellation and administration penalties. To the extent permitted by law, no refund is available after travel has commenced or for any unused inclusions such as accommodation, transfers, meals and tours. Please note that employees of any supplier are not authorised by the company to make any undertakings in respect of refunds or other matters. Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel, you must advise Select Vacations Pty Ltd or your Travel Agent in writing. The person who made the original booking should sign this letter. The cancellation is not effective until your Agent receives the letter.

Amendments: An amendment of your travel will incur amendment fees. If after confirmation of your booking, you wish to change your itinerary or departure date, a fee of $55 per file including GST will be charged by the Company for any subsequent amendments. Such fees will be in addition to any fees levied by hotels, ground operators and/or airlines. If after final payment has been made or documentation including airline tickets being issued, you wish to change your itinerary or departure date, a fee of $275 per file including GST will be charged by the company and your file will be treated as a new booking and new costing will be provided. If you decide to cancel your booking after the amendment, then the original booking conditions or the most restrictive condition will apply.

What’s Not Included in the Holiday Price: Passport and visa fees, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to Tour Directors, motorcoach drivers and local city guides, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, expenses, fees or costs incurred in case of illness, or of refusal of entry, detention in, or expulsion or repatriation from a country or part of a country. The Company is not liable for any expense, costs or loss incurred in relation to such matters. You agree not to hold the Company responsible for any such things.

Passports & Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits that meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least six month validity from the date of entry. If you need information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip, please ask your travel consultant.

Travel Advice: Select Vacations makes no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. For travel advice, please contact the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or visit their website at <www.smartraveller.gov.au>.

Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all Overseas Travel. You should arrange your own travel insurance. The Company recommends travel insurance against loss of deposits through cancellation charges, baggage loss and medical expenses. The Company makes no representations or guarantees concerning reimbursements of funds paid by you under any insurance claim. You agree not to hold the Company responsible for any decision made by insurers, and / or by any service providers, or requirements of any overseas country or governmental authority or overseas laws and policies.

Room Bedding Guide: Prices in this brochure are based on existing bedding in the room. Requests for particular arrangements must be made at the time of booking, eg, twin share – separate beds, or a shared bed. Please note that the “Bedding Guide” is provided purely as a guide, which may change, subject to hotel renovations or other circumstances.

Holiday Variations: If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control require us to make necessary changes to your holiday, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. Where it is necessary to change a hotel the Company reserves the right to substitute accommodation of at least a similar standard.

Other Conditions: It is your responsibility to comply with the terms, conditions and requirements of any service provider or any country or governmental authorities, or to bear any costs or losses incurred as a consequence of you not complying with them.

Other Wedding Conditions: All resorts offering a wedding package including a group reception require a minimum number of passengers and room nights to stay at the resort. If this minimum number is not achieved by the wedding group then additional costs will be incurred.

Standard of Service: The standard of service in your holiday is based on various factors and neither the company nor its servants or agents represent or guarantee the standard of fitness for purpose of the accommodation or services provided.

Consumer Claim: Should be lodged in writing to the company or your Travel Agent within 30 days of return to Australia with supporting documentation. The airlines do not by virtue of their endorsement of this brochure represent themselves either as contracting with any purchaser of a holiday from the Company or as having any other legal relationship with such purchaser.

Limitations of Liability

The Company together with other services providers will operate your holiday. The Company has offices/agents in: Leichhardt, NSW.

Select Vacations Pty Ltd: The Company sells tours in Australia. Depending on the holiday, these holidays are operated by either the Company or associated entities. The Company provides the services of selling holidays to you and others, and ancillary services such as making bookings, arrangements and ticketing. It does not itself provide carriage, transport, accommodation or meal services you may receive on your Holiday. Such services are provided by air carriers, land carriers, cruise operators, hoteliers and other service providers.

Responsibility: The Company shall be responsible to the passenger for supplying the services and accommodations described in this brochure, except where such services cannot be supplied or the itinerary used is changed due to delays or other causes of whatever kind or nature beyond the control of the Company. In such circumstances, the Company will do its best to supply comparable services, accommodations and itineraries and there shall be no refund in this connection.

This brochure represents the entire agreement between you and the Company.

In the absence of their own negligence, neither the Company nor its agents or co-operating organisations shall be responsible for any cancellations or for acts of any other service providers concerned or diversions or substitution of equipment or any act, variations, postponements, omission or default whatsoever by air carriers, land carriers, cruise operators, hoteliers or hotels, transportation companies, or any other persons providing any of the services and accommodations to you including any results thereof, such as changes in services, accommodation or facilities necessitated by same. Nor shall they

be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or property, or for injury, illness or death, or for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from loss, negligence of any person not its direct employee or under its exclusive control, including any act, error, omission, default, or negligence of any country, government or governmental authority, officer or employee. The Company nor its agents or co-operating organisation are responsible for any criminal conduct by any third parties.

Where the passenger occupies a motorcoach seat fitted with a safety belt, neither the Company or it’s agents or co-operating organisation or service providers concerned will be liable for any injury, illness or death or any loss of damages or claims whatsoever arising from any accident or incident, if the safety belt is not being worn at the time of such accident or incident.

Transportation companies, airlines etc are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board planes, transportation or conveyances. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or transportation companies when used shall constitute the sale contract between the airline, transportation, company and passenger or purchaser of this tour and the Company nor its agents or co-operating organisation assumes responsibility in this connection. Enrolment in and payment for a tour shall constitute agreement and acceptance by the passenger of the terms and conditions set forth in this brochure which cannot be varied except in writing by an officer of the Company.

All matters arising in relation to the services provided by the Company but not in respect of other things are subject to the law of New South Wales.

Every effort is made to ensure brochure accuracy at the time of going to press. However, the Company cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.

The Company is only responsible for the services it provides. It does not accept responsibility or liability for any of the acts, omissions or defaults whether negligent or otherwise, of other service providers.

Neither the Company, its servants or agents or co-operating organisations or other providers of transport, facilities, goods or services in connection with your holiday accepts any responsibility or liability of any nature whatsoever for the acts, omissions or defaults, whether negligent or otherwise, or of acts of any governmental authorities, officers, or any governmental servants, employees, or agents, or of airlines, air carriers, shipping companies or operators, cruise or ferries, any other transport providers of any facilities, tour directors, tour guides, travel agents, or any other providers of transport, facilities, meals, other goods or other services to you on your holiday or in relation to it and over whom the Company or the co-operating organisations have no direct control.

The Company, its servants or agents or co-operating organisations or other providers of transport, facilities, meals other goods or other services to you on your tour or in relation to it do not accept any responsibility or liability of any nature whatsoever including but not limited to contract, in tort or under any other law for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused by your own acts and or omissions, or other events which are beyond their control and /or their servant’s or agents control including force majeure or other events including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, severe weather, acts of God, acts of government or any other authorities, failure of equipment or machinery.

All bookings made with any provider of any transport, facilities, meals, other goods or of any services are subject to terms and conditions imposed by them in relation to matters not covered particularly and expressly by our agreement with them and to the applicable laws and to conditions, requirements or policies of any government or any governmental authorities, officials, servants or agents, including visa, entry, exit, transit or other requirements whatsoever.

Neither the Company nor its servants, agents, nor co-operating organisers accept any liability or responsibility for any terms, conditions or requirements of any other person in respect of the provisions to you of anything outside the scope of your contract.

If you decide that you do not want to visit a country or part of a country you intended to visit because of any law, condition or requirements of any government or governmental authority, official, servant or agent, you are responsible for any costs, expenses, charges, fees, losses or damage incurred as a consequence and any cancellation or amendments fees.

Neither the Company nor any of its servants or agents accepts any responsibility or liability for your acts, omissions, defaults, conduct, state of health, condition or circumstances.
