 Where does it go?

When you flush your toilet, where do you think all the dirty

water goes? _______________________________________

After it rains, you can seerain water along the curband on the street. Where doyou think that water goes?

Go with the flow:

How the water cycle works

In cities like Cleveland, and others across NortheastOhio, water moves in a cycle called the urban watercycle. In our area, our water comes from Lake Erie andflows back to Lake Erie after it has been cleaned.

Look at Wally’s urban water cycle and answer:

Where does the water in your house come from? ___________________________

Who cleans the water coming from your house? ____________________________
