When I bought this property along Richmond Street West, just east of Bathurst, I immediately had an idea for a building. I didn't want to do an all glass contemporary structure, instead I envisioned a more historic themed building that could have been comfortable here 100 years ago. I’ve added a contemporary edge to the building to make it look appropriate for 2014 and beyond. For inspiration, I looked to the Meat Packing District of Manhattan where a good number of older buildings are left to tell the historic record.

I am calling it The Harlowe, I think it’s the most beautiful name and it suits something that cares about the past but wants to be of today.

Toronto is definitely my city. I love so much about this town. One of my favourite things about Toronto is the Queen West strip and how the area around Bathurst Street is Constantly evolving. It is and continues to be a very hip area.

- Natural products (i.e. granite, wood and marble) are subject to natural variations in colour and grain. Tile is subject to pattern, shade and colour variations.- If the unit is at a stage of construction which will enable the Vendor to permit the Purchaser to make colour and material choices from the Vendor’s standard selections, then the Purchaser shall have until the Vendor’s date designated by the Vendor (of which the Purchaser shall be given seven (7) days prior notice) to properly complete the Vendor’s colour and material selection form.
