The Tight Skin Mouse

• Tight skin (Tsk) mutation is a genomic duplication within the fibrillin-1 (Fbn 1) gene

• Synthesize and secrete normal fibrillin (~305 kD), mutant oversized Tsk fibrillin-1 (~405 kD)
