Learn best when – Able to stand back and observe Given time to investigate and think before taking action Given an opportunity to review and reflect upon what happened No deadlines are given

Learn least when – Doing things without preparation Asked to take charge or lead the group Rushed by deadlines

Learn best when – Any activity is backed up by ideas and concepts emerging out of a theory There is a structured situation with clear objective Given a chance to question or probe

Learn least when – Asked to act without giving clear facts and principles Situations that involve emphasis on emotions and feelings Activities that provide ambiguous instructions

Types of Learning Styles : Pragmatist• Learn by trying new things out• Explore new ideas for problem solving & implement them

Learn best when – There is a link between the action required and reality Shown techniques with clear practical advantages Asked to experiment considering the feedback from expert

Learn least when – There is no immediate practical benefit It all appears to be theoretical Going around the circles instead of coming straight to point
